Favorite boss/es to fight?

She's really pretty TvT I haven't tried fighting her outside mq but she's on my list!

Venena seems like a favorite! She's kinda perfect, in fairness. I remember creating a new char to cosplay her when she first came out And with the new update to the raid system, you can raid with your friends or guildmates! Random partying is also cool but doing it with the guild has its own charm

For York I saved all mats. The hb and bg mats were used for smith prof while the memo paper was sold off. During that time a stack of papers sold for 800k. I think now York papers are still around 500k per stack (not sure)

For venena all her mat drops are valuable. Since almost everything she drops can be used to make any of her primary weapons, sword, staff, md, bg, hb. I am hoarding her cloths for when her armor becomes player craftable. The only thing I process from Venena are the weapon drops which gives 75 mana each and the metal mat that isn't used for crafting and drops easily.

 

Kaiser was a boss in the beta version, I believe.

 

Wait until his HP drops down to 25% (aka when the HP bar drops below the N in “Nurethoth”) to do flinch/tumble/stun. You won’t get any counter attacks. A lot of bosses in the higher levels have specific patterns related to f/t/s, so I hope you like learning em. (It’s pretty fun though)

As for favorite bosses, Zahhak is really satisfying to fight on a mechanical level. I like how it has a no-AOE signal move (the laser beam) since it requires paying attention to the boss animations like in Monster Hunter.

Ah, I wasn't there in beta but it must've been fun

I am learning about patterns now because my new char is a brawler. My main is a mage so it wasn't really that important as long as there's a tank. I didn't realize that about Zahhak but I was fighting Twilight Dragon last night and I did realize how important it is to pay attention to boss animations before you launch combos or attack/interrupt. It really adds to your survival chances

 

Hmmmm...

Maton Sword's a nice boss to fight, if only for its cool BGM. The fact that no DMG (taken) challenge runs on any difficulty are possible on that boss too is another plus on my list. And the Armor you can make from its mats is nice-looking too.

Mozto Machina is another. Impossible to do no DMG there, but still challenging enough... Ultimate has fairly good EXP too for Lv. 164 to Lv. 167, even without breaking, which is hell for Katanas... the breaking, I mean. Katana has very low tap dmg, as you know...

I love Maton Sword! It's so cool! But I wouldn't want to fight without someone who can paralyze xD Also, wow! 29 minutes! Did you ever die? @-@ I'm gonna try that when my brawler levels up

 

If you use Impact you have also have Lances, for Stop, works just as well, albeit procs rarely... also nah, not on that particular run, but on previous ones, and most of the ones I did after that (keyword: most), thing conked me out when it was like less than 3m HP left...

I'm glad to see many people pick York, he is such a nice and memorable boss because of the difficulty, BGM, Story, and he also gave me the first xtal ever. Maton sword is also nice. Great BGM, challenging boss, and Burried Tower is probably my most favorite place so far. I also like Gwaimol fight, very intense and fair fight when solo, but if he decide to fire his BALLS while playing with pt then ughh.....
Venena has a god tier BGM but she is a little too easy, if only her fight has Coenubia Gwaimol and Ornlarf instead of Pillar, and she should have a bigger, cooler moveset, seriously she has so much potential to become the best boss but Asobimo missed it.

Ooh you're right. Well I still like the crystal armor but I can't think up of ways I can match it with my current equips ;-;

I kinda agree about Venena. At first I thought she was a nightmare (she still is if your pt is unbalanced) but when asobimo released the 10Mdl raid version, I realized she really could've been more...

 

Now we got a thing called "Party Alliance" in Raid boss, which mean we can invite any 2nd party as we wish. With that, Venena has become easier than ever. Though, she is quite fun to fight on NM mode coz we need to pay more attention as her pillars become very brutal, and her blue zone can deal like 12k+ now.
But may be next time we fight Venena(Chapter 8), she will become harder. I hope.

 

Omg I totally forgot that we might still see her again as a stronger boss! I think she'll definitely be much harder to deal with then. *-*

 

Still looks nice! I forgot what color I was aiming for when I first saw that armor...
