5 Days for Trees, 10 Days for Crops(I think, because it grows 10%~ per day)

    trees are for lazy people.
crops give more points if you water them.

trees can be harvested below 100%, if you need a few points fast.
but it is not recommended, since the degradation will be the same.

Unsure, I've noticed you need to have a variety for the quality level to actually increase..

I know my trees were 300%+ In quality, and I've harvested several times. I have 5 Trees, and what I noticed is that you get higher qualities depending on what you plant them next to

Are you sure its not because the older plants give less? What is your plant layout?

thanks for the replies, Im thinking of full crops as well, but if there are other factors like the crop next to a tree, theres more to talk and share about, qualities may be exploited, aside from them being aesthetics.

Also, you think the season has to do with it, since quality changes?

With full crops and 2 trees i usually monitor my weekly harvest. When the original value(first harvest) is halved it is time to replant it in my opinion.(usually 4 havests or 1 month) trees on the otherhand is mostly filler when im cooking my exp boost dish and im out of ingredients.

Hard to say, it is only 2% afterall(10% max i guess) but any boost on char usually carried over to pets with exception to gemruns.(my doggo is catching up real fast with my new fs-finale-tamer, hope new skills is good tho)

I can't wait for Children'sday event again. If xp bonus does carry over to pets my origami hat, yashiro/p.ava blue xstals and xp up stargems can give over 35% bonus xp (maybe 45% if I get the tamer ring).

I'll see after maintenance is over.

But i know from memory, that the first thing I planted was a pear tree at max investment , as out of all the plants available, the pear tree had the highest initial quality in the corner i selected. I decided that pears were superior, then when I was about to plant my second one, it didn't have the same quality at max investment... But now the (other species) tree did (I looked through trees/crops, and noticed the value were different from before) . Some now exceeded the pear tree in quality at max investment. So, I always planted the highest quality plant at max investment, until my garden was maxed.

I'm getting a lot of ingredients, most I've harvested in one go was 1800 from 5 trees and 2 crops

The first harvest always yeilds more mats. I plant Daikon and the first harvest always gave 560 (?) points. Everytime you harvest from them the quantity of mats decline so re-planting is a must if you want optimal production. I only harvest from trees once all 5 fruit slots are filled so I don't have to replant the tree often.

That is a bit sad. Crops give better harvest 3 crops gave me that amount from1 daikon 2 tomato crops(have to replant the 2nd tomato since it is old) max per crop i got is around 700 with average of 500. When harvest drops to 300 i usually replant it with a fresh high grade crop. Take note that every crop takes a week to grow. Then again, trees does not need to get water so you only need to just visit it on weekends to harvest. 1800 per week is a bit restrictive in cooking dishes you may only cook random dish or just cook stat bonuses dish (100 each)

Good to know that it takes a month before replacing old plants.

I guess I will plant 2 trees and rest are crops.
Also, this could be a miniscule information, but this help finding which is which, I think the default order (after restarting the game) of listing from the order planted in the field is:
    789
    456
    123

If crops is between two trees it will be like these:
    567
    143
    123

1 being the same tree in the 1st spot, 2 and 4 being the crops in the middle of the trees, 3 being the same tree in the 3rd land slot.

The highest quality that I have planted is 299%
What is the highest quality that you have planted?

Hold on, max is four threes. And I I only play around 20 hours a week. And I get about 1500 ingredients from my trees each week.

But I only get 80 ingredients from my crops, with quality level +289%, so that's 160 from both.

But I don't replant constantly. Haven't done any replanting as the trees have been consistently giving me 1500~ over the last month or so, since I've been doing it.

But since I only random the recipes, I've never run out of ingredients, as I'm only using 1400 per week.

But I've noticed with each tree I planted the +quality % limits increased for the next crop. When I replant, I'll experiment to see which combinations give higher quality limits.
What is the planting limits on crops? How many can you plant?

    I assume, it's less than 12? I'm guessing it's 8 crops? Per garden.

So crops give about double, but they require watering?

Next time I had a lot of med mats, I'm going to replant and see what influences quality. As I noticed certain sequences had higher quality limits.

Crops have higher maintenance but higher profit too. I planted mine in diffrent days so it is easier to replant them(hard to tell which is which if you compare the list and the feild) specially if 2 similar crops are planted next to each other(LIFE HACK!)
