How to use magic skill (like storm...) with sword???

Last night I saw party leader using storm skill with sword...
So I asked her[or him] how to do that...but she[or he] didn't tell me...
And google search result is like this...

Please tell me..(stat, skill, weapon) anything...

You can use any no limit skill you want with any weapon you want. Storm can be used with a Ohs, but the damage will be garbage.
And yeah what he said, sword tempest looks exactly like storm and can be used with ohs

 

Yeaa I think I can try that skill (I never use that before) 'cause i never use sword before...

Combos involving Sword Tempest and Magic: Storm

1) Magic Storm > Impact (Consec) > Sword Tempest (Smite) {9 MP}
150% Sword Tempest Damage

2) Magic Javelin > Magic Storm (Save) > Impact (Consec) > Sword Tempest (Smite) {2 MP}
110% Sword Tempest Damage

3) Magic Javelin > Magic Storm (Save) > Sword Tempest (Smite) > Magic Blast (Swift) {2 MP}
90% Sword Tempest Damage


Twin storm combo of magic swordsman is generally a magic proration combo in which the damage of sword tempest grows over time, it is horribly weak against moving enemies like Roga and super strong against targets like Venena.

The overall damage and the skill points it takes to get it is a different conversation however. Stats you can focus on STR, INT and CRT, you will need motion speed and cast speed from equipment.

It might be viable with the event (non-proto!) clarity rose 1h drop. This weapon gives +12% matk (if you add grecia xtal that would be +18% mstk & +6% atk, for a potential hybrid build). I'm keeping a good one in my storage in case im tempted to try it out later...

Edit: I'm referring to a 1h+md build leaning more towards magic skills for dps
