Skill point abundance issue.

Anyone else finding they're now acquiring more skill points than they can possibly use on anything useful?

This seems to be a problem, and more so as we level above 180.

So you've already invested in your T4 skills, core combo skills, decoy/other wpn trees etc. Survival, battle skills and now you're accumulating skill points.

So what now? Get creative and just start learning new skills for the sake of it?

As much as this classless class system provides creatively. It's almost redundant in most cases to invest more skill points. As they don't improve your build, but just give you something different.

And now with the 180 battle skills. I've pretty much lost hope, and don't see the new guard skills adding anything useful.

Surely they could have made the new battle skills add utility to T3/T2 skills, so we could reinvest.

End game | 150 free skill points.

raise impact to lv10 instead of 7
get your other skills to 10, don't just leave everything at 5 just because it's not t4

also, 3 of the points can only be aquired by raising every skill in 3 skill trees to lv10. you couldn't do that and still have skill points left

 

idk why. But i need more Skill Point (‘_’). I need to max reflex and etc. Cuz stargem is for the rich one

 

Eh. I only got like 10 sp so left and I need everything I invested in.

 

make your thingy a hybrid dps character then. Or get support skills to help survivability and/or boost party performance. End game is not when you keep completing your character's main weapon skills along with complementary skills for said main weapon skills. End game is when you are able to do everything *-*

or, you can just keep them for new class skills or for the reworked guard and evasion system

 

My skills are at level 10, don't need impact. Sold my impact star gem for 300m+ a month ago.

My point is, eventually you have more skill points than you need. If there were more combo points, I might invest more in random skills. But atm, it's a pointless exercise.

 

What? Im always lacking on skill points even on every cap update and new skill released despite of I'm already using couple of stargems I like using. It seemed like there's always something I always like.
I like Passives. Aside from it doesn't consumes MP, it won't prolonged combos for good mobility. Even on DPS, defensive/mobility/utility passives I think are nice. We dunno what changes they'll bring to guard skill tree soon (guard/evasion) but if it turned out to be useful (IMO), I dunno yet where I will get the SP or what I will sacrifice to get that. Guard third tier was supposed to be for lvl180, and they postponed it. I have this feeling it will come first before the ministrel/dancer/assassin

 

As a dps/support mage I'm always needing points but if you have points left over doesn't hurt to learn extra buff skills for yourself or pt members

 

Recovery always nice esp for DPS. I see how my runs improved if my tank successfully free my DPS from those annoying ailments esp on newer boss. And with game without appreciation for support, and if tanks doesn't care for their DPS, it might be very hard for DPS in the future coz annoying ailments will become a normal thing soon coz i always believed its more concerning for DPS than for a tank

I find myself with surplus points on HB, Bow, and finale mages atm. These 3 characters have the most binary skill tree paths of all the weapons. I'd add Katana to that list, but some people like the second skill tree. These 4 just BLEED skill points though, compared to swordies (not DW) and knuckles who have good t1 ~ t3 skills in their attack trees.

I've honestly resorted to trying out Parry on my HB just to waste some skill points lol.

 

DW can't relate. There is not enough skill points for DW. Anything can be used (various buffs from various classes).

 

Yeah, I noticed... We can't use DW, but DW can exploit all. :/

 

Just delete those extra skill points with the help of Elon Musk

 

I don’t see how having more skill points is a bad thing... also what kind of bland build are you running to complain about having too many sp

 

Could be finale build without shield skills/dagger/sub weapon

 

Get all the passive battle skills! There problem solved!

 

Bow katana with tenryu, garyou, cf, snipe try that

Bow Katana has Tenryu, Garyou, Zentei, Hasso, Snipe, Crossfire as DPS skills. Decoy, Kairiki, Meikyo for buffing skills.

I've spent soooo many skill point on my build

 

Support skill like hp mp boost, eva or guard mastery,mp charge and other things

If i not wrong there is 246 sp total

 

hm... at lv130 i had 1 leftover point, so i decided to go into battle skills.
now i don't get enough points again.

how about play dead and first aid?
and expUP and dropUP?
