Newbie starting, advice on build?

I plan on being a tank when I hit max level but for now ( level 70 currently) I think I should be a build that helps me leveling. Like an aoe skill so for nightmare crystal parties I’m not useless. Any suggestions on a leveling build? I’m a warrior, gear also would help. Btw this is my first character.

 

Usually they used a separated char to farm nightmare crystal, a magic user with magic storm skill.
But, since u are new, i think you can just go and find a guild who will help you doing the main quest or just a mercenary to hire.
Doing main quest alone can take you to level 115++ while also opening the map and boss stages in the process. This will help you out in case you want to farm from boss stages in the future.

As long as you know how to play it, i think tank can easly get party member in boss stages, their skill are available for player with level lower than 150.
Meanwhile the other damage type classes rely on skills from level 150 and above too much, so it might be hard for you to find party.
For now, get a guild, get some friends. And do the main quest.

 

Just doing Boss Colon through Venena in MQ will level you from 1 to 115 and doing Boss Colon through Mardula will level you from 1 to around 125.5. I normally use bow first for combat character because it can do decent without tier 4 skills and Snipe helps a lot in some battles.
