Actually, you don't have to. Before you clear your toram data in application setting, navigate to Toram data folder and rename it from "com.asobimo.toramonline" to something else, i.e. "com.asobimo.toramonlineXXX." Assuming you are playing on Android, it should be located inside Android\data.
Now clear Toram data. Your system will not recognize that folder as part of Toram application anymore, which contains all game assets including maps of course. You will notice that the size of Toram app isn't as large as before you rename the data folder.
Last, rename Toram data folder back to its original name and you'll free roaming inside Toram world happily, no need to re-download the maps data all over again.

Yes I heard of that method but I didn't really want to try it before because it's not the first time people prank on youtube about these things. I guess I'll use this method if something happens to my account when I'm able to connect again. Thanks.

If you decide to give it a try later, I've done this method for hundreds of time to switch my "gift" account and back, before Asobimo account was implemented. Don't worry

 

Would it be possible to use the logout function to switch between an English account and a Japanese account on one device or would it be more complicated than that?
