Last time i checked, only those who have a japanese account can have acces to the game.(poor nation is taking flak on tuyul invasion recently) if you meant downloading fonts and authentications that cannot be called being connected to the game, since it would mean all we have to do is to create a brand new spanking account and we dont even need to use vpn to acces the game to create a new chars. If you have been reading the news: all gaijin servers of toram is down. Heck even other games if asobimo is taking shit for this major downtime. It is a rant fest that span on multiple games and media platforms. Dont tell me that you havent even heard of that!?

On the they they did their latest maintenance (March 7th), they already announced that the problem might be fixed on 12th, along with compensations info and its distribution method. Just because they did maintenance on that day doesn't mean anything to our problem at all. They did it for scheduled maintenance for those who didn't get affected by this problem. Who are they? Japanese players of Japanese server. There was never any news on the site that Thursday's maintenance will fix the database issue. So I don't get why should we first fact check ourself when you yourself didn't check their official website beforehand.

 

Its been confirmed on the official news that the change in the connection error message into server full itself, is an error. This means that your argument, or rather, your speculation that they have fixed an issue, a misinformation. We haven't gotten any clear announcement that they have fixed something, they dont release the detailed info on the problem in the first place, all we know is that the recovery is expected to work on march 12th

Same case happened at @Cooro 's message. Everybody is triggered and long pissed due to the delay, even if yoda speaks out of defence of japanese we might still find it offencive.

Wish you have skimmed on the topisc of page1 of GENERAL DISCUSSION there are at least 3 threads at the time with the same frustrated topic(like a police asking a question being worded in 5 diffrent ways, it starts to hit on some weird spots). It have been more than a week of toture with no guarantee of end.(char recovery is on 12th, they did not say the game will be back in full working order*hate them lawyers wording them announcements in confusing ways to save their skins*)
