Newbie in need of advice

Hey guys Imma start playing toram as soon as maintenance done later today.

I'm a complete beginner and really need advices and tips from you veterans for newbie that'd be really helpful later ingame.

Prepare yourself for a pis

I am by no means a veteran in game, but my advice is to follow main quest with main character to level quickly to around lvl 126. ...And you may have to prepare yourself for a longer wait than just today...

 

my first advice is to make an account in japanese server and get some knowledge in the field then imma help u in game when it works

 

But won't the default language be japanese if i go to japan server?

well i guess every mmorpg have the same thing going huh extended maintenance xD used to since i played dnsea(pc) previously. Now i just dont have time to go home and sit in front of my laptop the whole day so yeah.

It's definitely worth the wait, this game is awesome. Just a bump in the road, hopefully. It is a reasonably easy game to learn, and Toram players are often eager to help new players. Keep looking forward to your game start.

no just download the game make ur phone lang jp then open the game create a character then change ur phone back to english and play in international server download the game while ur lang is Japanese if u alr have the game then skip install and clear game data

 

there r many vids on YouTube explaining how to play on jp server with eng lang

 

*Try to have a high leveled player friend as soon as possible(2h wielder cap lvl as much as posible)
*make him/her your mercenary
*everytime you go battle a boss monster because of story mission, dont attack it, quickly go out from battle
*after going out, battle again boss monster but make its difficulty into very easy
*every spina is precious when you are noob (i dont like begging, and many players got annoyed by beggar), so dont buy unnecessary things such as potions
*also sell your loots to npc, and if you think the items are in demand on consignment board, sell it on CB
*go to map(tap it to view the whole map), tap thr monster, you can see their drops, and you can hunt right monster to gain equipments
* there are few "good samaritan" high level player that you can encounter and help you to level up fast, or help you to clear the story mission, dont beg for something(wait for th to give something,if they dont, no problem cause they did help you at something and thats enough)or else, they might leave you.
*try to know what kind of play style you have, dont just copy paste build from someone, or you may end up messing your character.

Research the class you want to play before putting stats and skill points. Messy all over the place stats and skills will reduce your combat effectiveness.

 

Its the other way around, if you change your phone language your new account would be placed in JP server. If youre completely new to the game, once you change your phone's language, make a character, and then you can go back and switch the language to english


As for the tips, for newbies you can just play through the main story quest, level yourself with mobs within +-4 level so you can get the exp boost. As for the skills, to play it safe you should only take lvl 5 for each skills They will give you a reset book so you dont have to be too careful either. Also get a mercenary, if you cant find a friend tp be a mercenary, just hire a random mercenary with spina, even when theyre significantly weaker, their auti attacks are still better than yours.

The setting is in the, party>hire mercenary with spina

Looks like youre doing fine haha, for guilds, with the international players unable to login, it might be best to wait till they resolve the issue. There are plenty of guilds in the internationl-JPserver but once the issue is fixed, most players would play their main account. Unless you can understand Japanese and join the japanese guys

 

*have your own land, breed pet, make vit/tank type pet (or dps if you are tanky), it will help you on your journey since you are into japan server, more often you will do things alone and pet help a lot (this is optional)
*dont spend your orbs to avatar!!!! Forget about fashion please(for now), spend it to expand your inventory/bank/vault or use it to get rare gems/items
*if you want to purchase items using orbs, some of it will go sale at some time so, better wait for that
*better learn about proration, boss weaknesses, attack pattern, and your skill combo. You cant see the diff. now but you will appreciate it on longer run.As many noob now just want to slash and slash for thier own sake to get attacker first. (sorry for that but thats what i think the truth)
