They can't just say sorry. I imagine we might get a beat the producer event or something of the equivalent to sort of provide humor and stress relief for irate players.

Hence the game content thing I speculated on.

If they just said sorry then I hope they're ready for the first ever cyber war.

 

They better shut down the game if it will took them 3 months to fix this issue.

There is no point on fixing it if players migrate to other games and their LOYAL players stop playing because of this crappy issue which happened because of their irresponsibility.

Within that time period, toram will be forgotten and overshadowed by other games that has a potential to rival its gameplay.

I don't consider it a business strategy at all but a gamble.

That's basically business in a nutshell a gamble.

Whilst they publically announce that the server is being repaired (which I guess they already finished doing), they will be gauging the reactions of the wider international community on a hidden level.

Taking other factors into consideration to minimize the risk to their profit, they are working in a way to ensure that they can at least get something out of this mess.

Three months actually isn't that long. Most MMOs have closed beta periods that long even some with break periods between beta phases being as such.

The reason I say three months is because that's the amount of progress lost by the players. To have that much downtime in addition to losing 3 months prior would be discouraging to most. That's basically six months.

They actually are in a rush for time to develop content to keep players satisfied for when they reopen the server than to reopen the server itself by my guess.

Asobimo probably has an idea of a date in mind so it won't do to get too worked up about this despite the TBA.... Yet.

 

I just think this whole situation is astonishing.
I know it's been said multiple times, but they should have had more backups than one from 3 months ago. Maybe monthly? They're not a huge company or anything, but damn... That's reckless to do with a game that has had millions of downloads.
And I know the problem is difficult to pinpoint, so I didn't expect some in-depth report to the player base as to what happened the same day the servers went down. But the fact that it took several days just for them to acknowledge the problem is a huge red flag.
I'll probably play Avabel Lupinus whenever that's available in English, but idk when I'll try Toram again after this. One thing I do know is that I'm never spending money on their games again.
Oh, and I'll make sure my Avabel account is on whatever Japanese server they'll have available for it.

I appreciate this as a joke but I really hope no one takes this seriously: we won't be doing anyone favours and this is a really vindictive way to go about things.

 

I'm definitely going to agree with you here . It sucks that we don't get to play but it's also definitely not fair to get mad at JP players for getting "better treatment" than us. Nor is it to accuse Asobimo of favouritism - it's not like they can just leave the JP server, which is still fully populated, completely abandoned as they try to fix things for us.

 

In any case, they are stubbing themselves on the foot , and refuse to admit it. Tuyul
was never a problem for the server, in fact it benefits them more than giving them loss, as it adds to the number of install, and server activity. But, moving them to the Japanese server while the iron is hot is a problem for them. Thus they decided to make it look like they crash the tuyuls, even when they don't (believe me avatar is sellable on illegal RMT so the tuyul will recover). At this point they are just ad-libbing to the situation they create, if you got someone to blame for the piercer and price raise, blame the devs for being such a dumbass. Tuyuls will never disappear completely. Manual ones may disappear but botted one will not, whats a couple of kilos on running for bots anyway. Whatever error they made, they are staying silent on it and we'll never know.

 

An illegal thing is always illegal no matter how nice it’s cover. like Batman, no matter how many life he save, what he did still consider illegal because he didn’t follow the government rules. A policemen exist because we want them to protect us thus we give them the permission to have gun or stick to attack and hurt criminal.

It’s the same in the game world, the rules exist because it’s use to maintain the joyful of the game and prevent any unfair occur. you say there is no fair in this world ? Yes I totally agree but please tell me, is Toram Online is an actual world? No, Toram online is not an actual world, but is the world that everyone dream for, we got freedom inside, we got choice to choose for our live, we can do anything which is restricted in our actual real worlds. That why it’s make us addicted, that why we can’t simple leave Toram, this is why we want those tuyul wipe out from Toram because we don’t want those MFK spoil and mess up our dream worlds.

And yes it not about business, not about justice, this is just because we want to protect something we love, that it’s! That all!

 

Yesterday I sneaked in the JP server the TUYUL indeed populate the INT server 1 they run around Rakau plains like headless chickens as stated above I is indeed at JP -01 to 03 all JP player and a little mixed int player on INT - 01 to -03 mostly populated by Indo player

 

If they really want to stop the tuyuls, they don't really need to go through such length to change the rewards, just change those emblems and make them only claimable after all mq is finished. Is that really hard? With more mq being added, the difficulty of tuyuling will increase, and killing them slowly and effectively.
