Is Roll Back More Possible now? Or they are just dragging?

    Rollback is possible they ssaid in case no way to fix it

    The longer it takes, the less chance of rollback without injection of more recent character data. In other words the longer it takes the better imo.

    Uhm lol, I'm happy to see there are player's that still have hope!
    I personally think they may not be back up until later April beginning of May if even then.
    They say they wasn't cyber attacked but I believe that's not true after this length of time they have not posted their accomplishments or updates as to keep the community informed.
    All we are seeing is repeat of maintenance notice and crap after that.
    No one, And I mean no one likes to admit defeat...I truly believe that they are not saying anything because they don't know what to say or how to say it lol.
    They don't want to come out and say "We are shutting down indefinitely due to mass data loss and possible leak of client information and or???
    Lol, Every game I have ever played when this stage hits if it does normally means it's beyond repair and the data is beyond recovering so pretty much it's start all over clean slate, Levels and skills and maps and mobs revert back to the basic beginning.
    Or no more game.
    Lol.

    If they are lazy they slap the rollback asap and get it over with. They are sifting out possible tuyuls and genuinely recovering data. Coz the rollback itself is too good(if the rollback compensation sucked then it be bad propaganda and ruin the game)

    They say they working hard on player data recovery, so just give them a try. But I think it won’t drag too much because this is have impact on their reputation and income.

    they are trying to fix it.

    if they don't a bunch of triggered baby player armies and orb compensation demand is behind their ass,which will in turn made them lose more money and gain them alot more work + bad reputation once they accept defeat.


    if anyone here is an experience gamer they must have known how disastrous a "rollback" is when it occured in every game,causing severe dmg to time and money in both sides.


    i have a japanese friend that is tied to my global account,i ask him to come online and visit my land,some small part of furniture were lost but around 87% of it still remain intact that i placed from after december,some players who have friend from that side also report of this land behavior in different cases (loss of some pets,furniture,some remain unchanged)

    a rollback is possible,their problem is time and trust.

    I wouldn't call it "dragging" but that's just my opinion. Whatever the case, they may also be implementing better security or other ways to back up data to prevent this from happening again. If I was the developer, I would be taking this time to check everything to ensure that this wouldn't 0happen again. Will that mean taking more time? Most likely. But in the long run, being offline for a few weeks to fix and improve your product is better than prolonging agony from nearly every perspective you look at it.

    i believe they are trying their best to restore said data. but if they do have to admit defeat its going to cause alot of issues. i believe we all know that. just gotta have some patience.

    Mostly they're having difficulty as 3 months worth of data times the amount of players affected across each of the foreign server(server that aren't jp). Also, how large of a data loss for each chara and the amount of time needed best to recovery and fix it. They also have to implement countermeasures as to not let the servers broke again. Prolly they're just tryna actually do all those data recovery and new security or game rules implementation all together as once. Don't forget once all recovery is done, they've have to debug and see any errors. To make things worse, they have received negative feedbacks on the play store.

    Not just recovery and compensation is their concern here, they've to consider if they wanna to do the white day event. Why i say so? Its cause that in every event server will be full, especially INT 1 server. So, i'll say they aren't dragging nor they would wanna just rollback. Just give them time till mid-April. Like seriously..till April. Since, i don't think they work overnight to recover the data.

    Perhaps you missed the bit at the end saying in my opinion. There are no facts in any of this stuff as it's all speculation, so you cannot say things are true or false. There are only feelings and opinions lol

    About the land, I think that we shouldn't be using it to make a conclusion on whether or not a rollback will happen. Like you said, some JP users are still linked to international users, so it may just be a temporary revert to the last "safe" state so JP users wont crash when they try to access our mercs or land.

    What would be more interesting would be getting a JP user to check our land + mercs (including the "last edited" date) right after the crash and see what the data is like at that point. By now the devs definitely had enough time to temporarily stabilize our data for the JP users to access without causing crashes right and left.

    When I was on my JP account to check on my ENG friend's land, it took 10 second after mashing the visit button before I warped to his land. All pets were gone tho :x

    So if my +S equipments, 2 slot equipments are gone, will they give those back to me?
    Or just 40-50 orb compensation (40-50 orb means nothing to me at this point cuz my equipments + a lot of xtals that i stocked worth more n more)

    I think if Aso truly patching their backup while retrieving ours,they should put it on notice that they are also patching.
    Just write something like "Dear players,we currently on process with data retrieval,but we also implement another countermeasure if this happens again.Because of this,we increased the estimated time for the server to get running"

    Ofc,this doesn't affect too much on raging players,but at least they know the reason why it takes them so long.

    Yeah,if they keep us updated with the info instead of just putting Tba,they don't have to pull the app from store and could avoided all of these flames.
