Synthesis questions

    When doing the locks for myself, I never experience something like the results will be different from what I lock and also there is a limitation for how many locks that you can do if you use player alchemist and all depends on your alchemist proficiency level
    0-49 proficiency = 1 lock
    50-99 proficiency= 2locks
    100-149 proficiency= 3 locks
    150-199 proficiency= 4 locks
    200 proficiency= 5 locks

    Getting 3 locks isn't hard but to reach 4 locks is costly coz at one point you need ori ore to synthesis into oricalcum

    You get armor by normal by default(indicated by leather armor icon). You can bring that to the npc blacksmith to be remodeled to light(indicated by cloth armor icon) or to heavy( indicated by metal armor icon)

    Are you using the NPC synthesis or your own character for 3lock/4lock? 15 million is a really steep price to pay for dyes and outfits. Also, when you lock something, make sure to press the left or right arrows next to the slot: rather than saying “random”, it’ll say (item name A) on the left or (item name B) on the right. This means the final item will keep whatever dye/appearance information is on the previous Item A or B.

    The easiest way to get your desired outfit with 3 dyes and specific stats is to do the synthesis in ~three steps (with 3lock). You’ll need an extra copy of an A or B or C dye, or an extra app to copy over.

    Ex. Item A has the wanted app, black A dye, red 54 B, black C. Item B has wanted stats.

    You’d need to add something like black C and red 54 to Item B.

    Third step: choose to lock in Item A app, black A dye, and item B stats. Since item A and B both have black C & red 54, those automatically get inherited.

    On the gear icon in the bag, light armor icon looks like a shirt, normal model looks like brown garb, heavy looks like a grey, steel armor

    I was having others do the synthesis and then was trying to recreate it on my own because it didn't work with them. I only had 1 luck and so had to keep the stats.

    I recommend that you take the time to raise your character’s synthesis proficiency level to 100 then for 3lock first. 1Lock is too random, and don’t trust other people to synth your gear when you can do it yourself and check.

    Umm... You synthesized at NPC with that 15M?? ...or maybe not.
    Synthesizing is tricky.
    Here is general thing you have to consider to do 5 locks with only 3 locks available:
    > Preparing Last Step Equipment A
    - Have the eq with stats you want, 1st eq
    - Have the eq with 1 of the color part, 2nd eq
    - Have the eq with 2 of the color parts, 3rd eq (with 1 part the same as 2nd eq)
    - Combine 1st and 2nd eq: lock 1st eq stat, and lock 2nd eq color (we call it jojo eq)
    - Combine jojo and 3rd eq: lock jojo eq stat & color, and lock 3rd eq color part which not the same part as jojo eq color part
    - Now you have eq A
    > Preparing Last Step Equipment B
    - Have the eq with appearance you want, 4th eq
    - Have the eq with 1 of the color parts, 5th eq (it is the color which not existed on eq A)
    - Have the eq with 2 of the color parts, 6th eq (with 1 part the same as eq A, and the other the same as 5th eq)
    - Combine 4th and 5th eq: lock 4th eq appearance, and lock 5th eq color (we call it dio eq)
    - Combine dio and 6th eq: lock dio eq appearance and color, and lock 6th color part which not the same part as dio eq color part
    - Now you have eq B
    > Final Step
    - Combine eq A and eq B: lock eq B appearance, lock any color on eq that the other one missing, lock eq A stat.
    - Done

    If you keep the same stats as heavy, all apps you use will be heavy. The only way to remove the heavy remodel is to use a different set of stats from another armor to return it back to normal remodel (or light).

    So my issue has to deal with me trying to transfer the stats from my heavy armor to a normal/light?

    Yes. Unfortunately it’s impossible to reconvert stats after it’s remodeled, so you need new stats.

    First just wanna be clear, do you really know what the lock that ppl here trying to teach you? If yes and you already did then possible is because of the armor own color mix with your dye color.

    You can choose only 1 of the Same type dye ( example dye A from Armor 1 and dye A from Armor 2 ), but sometime the color output may not become what you expected. Example Praetor garb, when you use white dye on it, it’s won’t turn out become our but more like Grey color.

    Tech stat and Equipment Synth skill level both directly affect success rate and even if you have it locked if success rate doesn't say 100% the locks are still gambled is only information I don't see already mentioned here.

    So I found something out. The model of the halloween garb two I had was heavy. So it may be possible to transfer my stats over.

    I was also able to buy an adentures garb with the appearence of the Halloween garb 2 and make it heavy.

    Now all I have to do it is manage getting thr dyes added along side the stats.

    If it weren't for you guys, I would've never figured this out. So ty everyone!
