small curious dress question

the price of the dress is dropping pretty quick, but with those stats i REALLY want it. i don’t know if it’s worth a gem run since it doesn’t seem like it would be. is it a really common drop on the normal mode or only in hell mode? sorry if this is the wrong place to ask it, im really eager to get this cause it’s a chance to change my build for once. thanks ^^’.

 

yeah its pretty much 100% drop rate, also you cant gem run it, setting gems isnt an option.

I ditch my full crit stat and use the armor drop. I like it so far just like heavenly feathered garb. Loving these boss drops now^^

 

yeah, i’m planning on using it to negate the -100% cr tonfa effect. i’m really glad that it came out ^^

But you losing about 28 critical damage, it’s still have Pro and con on it. For me is the AR is more attractive because not longer needed 255 MEN to get 100% AR, and the MP1000 as well.

It's never been more blatent, but I can't say i'm unhappy. Though, I feel it helps Int/Crt mages a bit more to achieve 150ish ~ 180ish crt. It's definitely a curious situation though.

Guess i'll pick one up once finals are over. Might even get to try additional magic/melee build with this. :v.

it would just be much cheaper going about getting more crit. gonna need all the money i can get to upgrade a tonfa all the way up to A or S. ^^

 

Tbh if you didn’t add any point to CR stat, curios dress helping not much on critical, example
With curios dress neutralize tonfa negative critical which mean give you critical stat 25 back.
With FC18 armor will increase CR 18 and return you CR 4 from Cr%.
Curios dress 25 : 22 FC18

Set A = tonfa + curios dress
Set B = tonfa + fc18

When base CR is ......
25 : A=25, B=22
30 : A=30, B=23
35 : A=35, B=24
40 : A=40, B=25
50 : A=50, B=27

The gap will getting close when level cap increase, at level 200 an FC20 armor already have same CR like curios dress without Cr stat point on it.

So unless you invest at least 50 point to Critical stat else curios dress really not match with tonfa.

go all the way to the bottom of the cab screen and click appearance, it will show up then since it’s still untradable in dropped form ^^

 

i’ve got 68 into crit. it’s not ideal but it’s how i play. so i’d have my:
bear hat+yashiro azuki’s mom (25)
lil empress dagger (10) 35
seele, which i’ll buy (15) 50
curious dress (25) 75
68 crit stat (~23) 98
together it’s all 98cr so it’s why it’ll fit me. it’s much cheaper since fc20 will cost me a fortune on top of refining tonfas. i used the coryn club stat simulator before everything so i’ve thought about this enough to go through with it.

 

Well...I have my own BS so refining and stat armor I do it my own. Only have problem on farming tonfa and buying megiston.

 

MTL/AGI char + tonfa (megiston champ+gwaimol) + vulc shield + curious dress + bear hat + seele + lvl 10 crit up + lvl6 crit food + 15% whalement res (ava stats) = Tonfa build with 100crit AND 100% ailment resist
(if you don't have megis champ xtal, can swap to shaved ice+gesp 2)
(if you don't have 15% whalement res from avas, can swap to Sakura Fan Hair Clip + crit5 from avas)
