How long can you boss hunt for?

I have this problem that I want crafting mats and gear drops from bosses but then when I actually start farming them, I get tired and bored after like an hour or two. So out of curiosity, I'm wondering how long can others go on for before they get sick of the boss and move on to something else.

 

Depends on if I need EXP or not. When I'm not capped, I can continously farm for a quite a bit because I'm not so hung up on drops. However, at level cap, farming is frustrating for me so one hour tends to be my limit. Seriously, getting nothing after killing a boss is depressing.

 

I just buy boss mats and xtal, I would just farm 8-10 hours at minibosses

 

I only stop until I get the drop I want or my battery discharges. 9 out of 10 times happens the latter.

 

i limit my self just an hour but if i had good party i can level it to next 1 hour, so its the people in your party which made u bored or not i guess...

 

When I was starting out, I spend around 8-12 hours a day farming spina or mats.

 

I would farm until I get either tired or bored ( limit is 1-3 hours) then I would go to sofya and see if anyone is selling the item I want.

 

what did you farm them for........they are our mascots you know

 

I can farm bosses All day long turn on netflix or hulu I'm set to go.
I just need something to keep me going and interested.

 

uhhhmmm...around 6-8 hours in War,since i need collect lot TGS ( but no Xtall yet )

Well..people recently.looked for that TGS ( since BG being rising star now ,but for me i just need that to create.my own BG element * no luck till now * )

that's greedy bastard starting sell 150-200k/stack , so i must wake from my lazzy slumber to farm it

 

only reason i stop is bcuz DAM BATTERY DYING

 

150~200k per TGS stack? When it was implemented we sold them for like 5~7k...

 

yep...i remember that time too...

Since BG became rising Star with that Snipe...so that's TGS too will rise like hell

but in the end this is how the Economic work right , so enjoy it

 

I could probably go for 6 hours tops if it was with friends/guildies.
On the other hand, since I mainly use my mage (who is capped), if a boss is super boring to kill, I'll quit after 30 minutes or so unless I really want a drop from it.

 

i hear ya... can't afford them expensive scales so i can't be my usual lazy koala self either v.v

 

I used to farm consecutively at eerie for up to 14 hours at a time during beta.

Now I'm pretty sick of farming so at most an hour or two. Stop and continue the next day or a bit later.

 

14 hour... that's awesome playtime dude!!

 

Ikr Was crazy last time but not now. Rather farm spina to buy cheaper items. Haha.
