Proto clarity rose still good?

Just came back from a hiatus and i am wondering if proto clarity is still good(or maybe still the best?). If not, what beats it?
Also im waiting for anniv swords

 

Proto still good for the majority of most builds.
Though you're not losing out that much if you don't have it.
I wouldn't call it the best but it is very very viable due to physical pierce stat and crate. Though it's pretty easy to get 100% crate at this point in the game.
Atk wise nothing beats it minus Jupiter Sword 2 but that's just a good subhand. It's your best friend for new high def bosses/mini bosses and Hard/NM/Ult mode.
While used against higher def bosses you will see a drastic change compared to a regular custom stat sword.
Stabilty and aspd lost isn't that bad if you know how to work around it but hey no one cares about stability lol ;D
Against lower def bosses not much change between a custom and Proto.
