DW Discussion [NERF] Shining Cross: New Meta?

What do you guys think of that DW nerf? Will they be the META since SC cost more mp now and damage is reduced? What do you guys think?

 

DW is strong because Proto Clarity is OP. I don't think the meta will shift MUCH.

 

asuccbimbos has a casual tendency of always decides to cut the dmg drastically of every thing and raise little to no dmg for balancing skills,which turns out bad.

Let's just see how Suzuki changes the formulas. Predicting now wouldn't be a good idea since they can massively fak up a skill (Finale last rebalance), or just do a very small reduction (Tenryu last rebalance).

 

It is not how sc or decoy that will change dw meta, it is proto clarity rose. Remove that or shift it's stat and we will have a semi balanced DW

This wont be enough. Delete DW to balance DW

 

Stream sez dps was twice more than they expected so that could be a hint on how it might end up as far as dmg. And decoy disadvantage on othe weapons may affects a little on mp management vs some aoe spammer boss/miniboss that may minimize dw spamming

 

Im more concerned about the change in its speed and casting. How much is the reduction? Will agi max dw style (my style) actually a better option than str?

 

I wonder if it's a big enough nerf for people to remember that Storm Reaper exists, I personally like the skill more for DW aesthetic

 

I doubt its a big nerf well ampr is not an issue for u guys it was 3mp before now its 4mp . Activation speed is little to no issue at all as most ds have saber or berserk or close to 40% ms. Dmg is can be an issue but i doubt its more than 20% reduction.

 

I think they intended to reduce the dps into half.

 

Sir ur trying to say remove 2mp restore of sc. Kinda having hard time understanding it.

 

i like it, but it has a big blind spot which is uncomfortable to play with.

 

Storm reaper actually very fun to use but it is certainly wouldn't be any meta soon. It has backward move to avoid any aoe skill and also being invincible at the same time, meanwhile we have backstep to avoid (very fast animation) and cross parry which make dw almost invincible (with great aspd buff) also dont forget saber aura.
