Time for me to give up

Hello everyone
I've been playing this game for almost two years and I've been trying to upgrade a one slotted 2H sword ever since the time I began. I get it up to +B with tech and when I try to get +A with luck char it has failed countless times and once even bought my down to +8 even with anti deg. I've spend countless amount of orbs and spinas on this and I'm honestly getting tired of it. Other players charge an expensive rate and if I saved my Spina from the get go I would have been able to buy a +S double slot by now. It's just ridiculous how much this game takes a toll on the chances. Even bots are having better chances at getting +S than a player. I don't know, I'm just tired at this point. I apologize for this rant.

 

C to B is very painful.
B to A to is luck against your odds. You will either need literal luck, and upgrade to A, or you'll downgrade to C to B hell again.

So consider your average luck at 4 downgrades from B before you can reasonably expect to succeed to an A. 6 downgrades is meh, average bad luck, so not neccessarily bad luck at all. Hit 8-10 downgrades from B, and then you can consider yourself very unlucky.

So stick with B and wait until new crafting skills to come out.
You can also just P2W with $/orbs.

 

the damage different from B to S is not that far tho.
and you know this is not a pvp game no need to be so competitive

How much did you spend? When I was trying to refine my very 1st weapon to +S it was also 1 slotted(modestia), and before starting to refine I asked around and did a lot of research pulling up old threads in this forums and asking my more experienced guild mates for advice, they advised me to have atleast 11-15m spina when refining 1slotted items, at that time anti-degs costed 500k/stack, and they didn't have this cool new time-saving feature of saving the materials you used to refine in case it failed so you can just keep on clicking refine button until it succeeds or you run out of mats, you had to rechoose the ores and antidegs 1 by 1 over and over again for each refine, and so I spent 3 hours of nonstop refining and burning through stack after stack of antidegs and orihalcums and hematites, until I reached S, spent 11m spina overall

However I was referencing buying orbs, and using it on those hammer chests in the orb shop. You want the hammers that give 5/10/15% +success and will not degrade even if they fail.

Sadly there are a lot of stuff in this game that is P2W if you were to think about it thoroughly.

 

If I remember correctly close to 175ish mill and 1.2k orbs

 

Used to use it too much. Burned most of my orbs to no avail

 

Rip, that exceeded the record that I know of of someone spending 50m to refine a 1s and failed lol

 

Just had hope that I would get +A at least someday. Today I'm losing it since it dropped to + 8 from +B. I'm just really stressed over pixels, the time and money at this point.

 

What is this weapon that you tried to upgrade since 2 years ago? It'd be obsolete by now.

I just w8 for lvl 200 cap since it may give more chances for refining to +S. Icant even get to +B im stuck at +C

Nvm ,I can find any weapon in 2 day without even sweating XO , it's just data transaction with animation theagram XO , ohh well I don't have the sour experience so I don't know ~~ But I will say this! XD I am also a refiner ~~ if you wanna refine +B raise tech 255 then all 243 on dex ! Well CF is op! xD ~~ if looking for +S on low budget use 190 character ! 255 in luck and 243 on int stat ~~ well finale is op too with 24% drop rate *-* Pwetty cool!

 

one of the new leaked skills is Experts Refine (Masters Refine?) that should help at 215.

 

Here is some tips for player that never actually tried or succeded on refining +S
Ask refiner for the market price of refining +S weapon and used half of it as a base money you wanted to reserved on anti degra and mats (if it is 9 Mil, then reserve 4.5 Mil). So imagine you still haven't make it to +S yet, it is always better to buy it from refiner. (This is not the tips btw)
Tips number 1 : do not spend money to buy refiner hammer, because at least you wont losing some $ tried to refine.
Tips number 2 : get your 255 Luk and 255 Tech. Different character. ( i think the guide for refine 0-B and B-S are somewhere in this forum)
This game pretty much depend on RNG, me myself have spend 15+ million on modestia (still +B till now). While the other time i refine, i only spend like quarter stack of anto-degra and made it to +S.

That tip aside, you spend 175 mill and 1,2k orb on a single weapon? I'm pretty sure there was some refiner for a tradeable and non-tradeable item that sell his service way less than that. Considering you have 175 mill i guest you are a veteran, so there wont be anything much to say i think. Just curious tho, what kind of weapon is that.
