how to create shield?

    Shield is not available as a craftable item in my blacksmith character. How do I unlock that? Do I need a certain skill proficiency before it is available?

    Player can't create shield in any way, shield can only be made by NPC blacksmith and as drops for monster, and tradable shield only from nightmare and/or from ultimate mode bosses...
