Tips final phase?

    Ive been trying gesp2 for a bit now. always get to last phase.


    i dodge his spikes. i dodge his donut. i dodge his red lines. then without fail he teleports up to me and then i die. no warning. no red. nothing.

    any clues how to make sure i dont get ganked?

    don't let him touch you with his red attacks,don't stop running when he chases you,don't be a turtle with shukuchi,don't run too near the tank,don't get too hasty to attack.

    only attack when it is at the center.

    it dashes after it call up small blue spikes

    measure 1 : flinch,tumble,stun (knuckle tank numbah wan again)

    measure 2 : run to the very edge of the map,stay there,observe its movement lines and the spikes (it dash in a star shape)

    just stay still in the empty gaps and you'll be fine.

    unfortunately i am not getting hit by his lines. once in a while i cant shukuchi fast enough by the donut.

    ive been teleported on randomly on pretty much every run even standing off the edge. i guess i just gotta keep holding elegant poses

    When Gespent ll use the fatal slash, it is like a star forms but sometimes he teleport and you cant see the red aoe.

    Is like Seele Sauga teleport behind you, is a bug xd

    well it all depends really,i had alot of times when the gespenst just calls up spike field right before it change to red,that's what i called horrible.

    when fighting it you probably need :
    10% luck
    20% skill
    15% concentrated power of will
    5% pleasure
    50% pain


    and a 100% thought of uninstalling this gaym

    Another very important thing is: having a good party. Dunno why but so far, almost all the parties I've joined sucks. I've only won once and it was quite a lucky run where in the last phase it only star dashed once (though I was the last one standing, others fell early in the final phase).

    Im having a bad day at gesp hell too.

    Story time:
    Got into this pt. 2hs (ndog) is the lead and he sucks so bad that he fell at the start of PHASE2
    and he keep on demoralizing the tank and mage to give up and jump, until we hit the last phase and gesp have 30-40%hp. The fools listened to that idiot 2hs (ndog). The Tank jumps off followed by the mage. End of the run. After we respawn at hora.
    The idiot 2hs (ndog) passed the lead and quit pt. Well thats how a cancer (ndog) plays. We disbanded the pt. And we live not so happily ever after.

    The End.
    ------

    Tip for last stage.
    Let the tank to do the inflict flinch/stumble/stun, to get his timing of rotation.

    If we get lucky, we might find that one good/OP party, otherwise,
    1) all dead
    2) all knock out
    3) party disband
    4) ‘Jump!Jump!Juuuuuump’ every party leader ever..
    5) Player themselves get knocked out while others win...that one truly hurts..:(

    I assume cuz most melee class dps just charge in blindly, hence they end up dead waaaaaay earlier than necessary..
    Tanks do their job..we need to be ‘there’ to do ours too xD
    Unfortunately, 98% of time; we r in Hora, eating popcorns n watching others die after us..oooor win :b

    I experienced what you talking about. I observed it has something to do with DWs. With their high aspd and spams it tends to create a lag that bugged boss usual placement of skills and teleports. Even if you knew how to dodge every atk/skills, you will die if they got bugged. It will caught you by surprised esp on the last phase dash.

    TIPs for dps.
    The blue small spikes is the key. Start running to the edge when u see him casting it. There's plenty of room to get into position.

    Normal gespenst 2 blue spikes short duration - thats why its easy to sukuchi anywhere after the fatal slashes

    HELL MODE gespenst 2 blue spikes are longer duration - you need to pick a right spot to come inside the donut because the blue spikes will knock you out again.

    Thats one of their differences. Hope this helps

    Stay on edge of map when Gesp used death dash and be on guard.
    Almost 90% of the dash can't reach there (i've seen some managed to get there,but thats doesnt occur too often)
    Count how many times it has dashed and start moving to center once gesp is on 5th dash
    If you see incoming small aoe, be ready to move into safe spot
    Also,try to not get too greedy with attack (Finale is probably the hardest here)

    Your safest moment to attack is when you see Gesp used huge aoe or waves attack.
    These attack will target tank,so get behind it and start wailing.
    As for your teleport stuff,its probably Gesp used slash aoe (He does this after releasing some waves)

    Its pretty damn frustrating because almost all dps in pt decided its a good idea to dodge dash on the center of map even though i already warned them.

    Was dumbfounded when a pt member just actually blame that I did not have the aggro as a tank during this phase, but actually did have.
    Before runs, I tell new pts to have their impacts set in their shortcuts and ask for help for disables during last phase, dunno, but most of the time they all fall before me.

    Just have a pt that actually listens.

    they don't bother to find and learn things,they just want to freely spam and get items.

    i understand that feeling man...

    tanking is an easy job they said,just sit in 1 place and use p defense they said lol.

    i don't have the leisure to explain every tactics and method for the boss to every single party i join,i also don't enjoy it when they just won't listen to me and dies all the time,then blame me for their deaths.

    being a tank means getting cursed with knowledge and stuck with being a responsible party pillar,if you die it all collapses on you.

    i hate being tank,but if i don't who will?

    Almost every tank I've met always got caught off guard by that waves > 1 hit kill AOE pattern in the final phase. Other times the boss kinda teleported backwards a bit while using the knockback AOE and hit me.

    Interutpting the boss should be the ideal so the dps will continue to deliver dmg. But hell is not like the normal mode which is weaker and can force fast kills if tanks can interupt 2-3 of its dash attemps. And boss sometimes recast the blue. spikes after an interupt but flinch, tumble, stun have resistance time too.
    Dps need to learn right position just to be safe. If tanks interrupts it, cool continue the atk, if fail to interupt ( evasion/cooling down ), you still in a safe place. Dont rely ot on tank only coz it also depends on tank builds, timing, etc.
    This is the result of game's players base with dps mentalities. They all want to force dmg overpowering every boss they farm ( dead brain gaming ). Goodluck applying that to this boss.
