Hello everyone,I decided to make this thread after arguing with someone who traded his b.nuts for n.wood. o_O

thanks to @J.D.X. for the New quests (Nov 2 update) list ( here's the link: http://toramonline.com/index.php?threads/new-quests-november-2nd.3731/#post-38225 )

So which is better to stack up on for exp? (It might be obvious but still...xD)

There are two points I'd like to point out in this thread
    >Farming nuts/n.wood
    >Buying nuts/n.wood

    Farming
    - When it comes to farming , I'd recommend (and I'm sure most of you will agree) to stack up on bitter nuts. Why?
The overlook snack quest gives us: 18,270 exp for 12 b.nuts
    - One stack of b.nuts=30pcs
    - One stack (for 24pcs) gives = 36,540 exp
    > 2 stacks of b.nuts(60pcs) gives = 91,350 exp
While on the other hand the Timber Shortage quest only gives us: 10,080 exp for 30 N.wood (still better than s.articles haha)
    -One stack of N.wood = 99pcs
    -One stack (for 90pcs) gives = 30,240exp
    >2 stacks of N.wood(198pcs) gives =60,480exp (with 18pcs left)

    Buying
    -N.wood stack= 1.5k-2k Spina
    -B.nut stack=4k-6k Spina

    >Let's assume you're able to buy N.wood for 2k /stack and B.nut for 4k/stack
So for 4k spina you can buy 1stack of B.nut or 2stacks N.wood
    >remember that 1stk of b.nut=36,540exp and 2stk of n.wood=60,480exp
For 4k Spina you can get more exp from Nisel Wood, so if you've got no time for farming and have spare spina for buying go for Nisel Wood.

    to conclude things
    >Farming - Bitter Nut
    >Buying - Nisel Wood

    Have fun gaming guys :)

People buy these stuff because they're lazy or have no time time to spare farming, so one can assume that they'll pick the less tiring method which in this case b.nut, which gives way better amount of exp every time you turn a quest.

I'd actually agree with that. I either buy or sell b.nuts once in a while. There are players who struggle making spina so what I've stated in my post is the "Spina-wise" way for gaining more exp. Anyway, I also agree that B.nuts is less tiring to trade in for exp.

Though I still can't understand why that certain player traded his nuts for wood (we're both farming at Nisel Mountain that time) , that guy must have been scammed lol

He's either using a third party program or just dumb, this is just my speculation though.

Well... It's not like you can farm bitter nut without farming nisel wood as well. But yes, 2k for a stack of nisel wood is far better than 4k for a stack of bitter nut.

    1.5k, 2k overpriced! ;)

so you gain a profit of 1k by reselling nuts and buying nisel

Well, selling nuts get you about 3-6k a stack. Then you can buy Nisel for a cheaper price and gain more exp
