Mostly from a tank's perspective. Gravicep have some elaborate mechanics.
    • There are two modes, Blue mode and pink mode. Blue mode occurs when the aggro holder is at 8m+ from the boss, while pink mode is the opposite.
    • blue mode reduces physical resistance while pink mode reduces magic resistance.
    • The boss have high guard rate, whether its related to the aggro holder's range is to be confirmed. At least on blue mode, it looks like it has high guard rate. A light ele weapon would be great to inflict dizzy with holy javelin to reduce the guard rate.
    • Boss stays mostly stationary on blue mode with exception of a pattern(after it unleashes big meteor aoes, it wil spin and go towards you with random occurence) while it will follow the aggro holder on pink mode and have different sets of aoe pattern from blue mode.
    • I will focus on the pattern on blue mode. It will do these things:
    1. Shoots physical attack laser two times.
    2. Do a triangular wide physical red aoe
    3. Spawns Blue fractional spikes with about 20% hp per tick on the aggro holder.
    4. Shoots player aim slow light balls that would explode upon hit with high fractional damage on random members.
    5. Linear red aoe where it slides towards you while spinning, deal huge fractional damage(40%+)
    6. As for the spinning fire, its not yet to be confirmed whether its related to mode or not. (its confirmed, fire only appear on lower hp on pink mode).
    • The aoe pattern that would occur Regardless of the mode is the big meteors. It's less likely to do it on pink mode
    • Stun is hard to proc on blue mode, while tumble and flinch are hard to proc on pink mode.
    • There are several exclusive pattern on pink mode, but I haven't tested it yet because I did long range tanking most of the time. The blue mode would be beneficial for physical dps members while it would suck on magic users. But the boss stays stationary as opposed to pink mode where it moves around ever so slightly depending on tanks movement.
These infos aren't 100% confirmed. Some corrections or confirmations are greatly appreciated.

Here's a vid on gravicep tanking(long range), sorry for the loud and annoying bgm as I don't have a knack for music.

Some might still escape its best to stun it. Then again it deals fractional less than 10% on my tank so sanctuary can be used. It just makes gsw unusable.

Do they cause ignite? I usually dodge the strays....so not sure if its from fin or some other stray attack (than again, the fins are red....) But i believe they wont pose a problem to ailment resistent tanks.

it's does ignite for 0seconds, for blue mode it mainly on ranged attack (red circle AoE and straight line red).
blue AoE have a random pattern, he will cast ice element meteor when his hp under 50-65% (it happen in random too)
pink mode has double punch and headbutt (red aoe short to medium range)
straight punch (short red aoe with short warning)(high damage)
ground pound (red aoe, tumble inflicted and tank got near to him he will immediately change his color and do this)

shark fin rotating distance is 0-7meters, he will cast it so often in under 59% hp any difficulty (random occasion too)

Bump, some patterns are confirmed. Video is added.

Yep, it only happens on lower hp% on pink mode but when it does, gravicep may spam it even after stunning, and to deal tumble and flinch you need to go back to 8m+ to do either long range tumbling/flinching(sonic wave/javelin) or letting your teammates do it.
To be fair the short range tanking is easier as the tank won't have to deal with blue spikes light balls, and meteors, the patterns are predictable as well. but the trade off is that spinning flame. On long range tanking, it will occasionally spawn meteor instead. The best thing to do is to lure gravicep on sideline occasionally and then go back to 8m+ so that when meteor comes the dps don't get caught on doing shukuchi to the middle of the arena, and may even still do damage if the metor doesn't hit the part where the boss is at.
