about unsheathe attack

hi i have 2 questions related to unsheathe attack:
1. why my enchant sword damage increase after i put avatar with stat +srd?
2. what is best xtall for weapon katana if the skill i often use is tenryu,magadachi,and garyou? (i just knew that magadachi and garyou isnt unsheathe attack,and i feel wrong put odelon into my katana)

 

1.because enchant sword is classified as both unsheathe and short range skill.
2.magadachi will do tenryuu ransei:zannou if the tenryuu buff is on, so it would still be an unsheathe atk. You can just use odelon or, ultimate machina for weapon for its 4%srd, 4% physical pierce and 400maxmp. But you can also use gwaimol, tyrant machina or mardula. Its all depends on your other gears and your stat diatribution, really.

and for enchant sword maybe baphomela is worth to increase damage.

 

Short range damage, long range damage and unsheath all affect the end of damage calculation making them incredibly power stats for the things that are affected by them and bapho is one of the best Xtals in the game for that reason along with odelon for katana
