Hey guys so Ive been playing for a while and it's just now that I am focusing my attention on Proration since Im slowly equipping my characters to be solo-able.

This is easy to do with Dagger Mage Burst. A lot of quick physical skills out there that you can use to prorate your Magic.

What if you're a Physical class, in this case a Halberd?
In a Party you have a mage to prorate for you.
But when you're alone, what skills are there in Physical Trees that you can use for Magic Proration?

    Thanks in Advance

for halberd, only your choice is really impact
for other class, blade skill tree got sword tempest and DW skill tree got spinning slash for magical proration.
i only knew these two so far.

You can just use your auto attacks since they cause normal proration.

agreed with Komibii, instead of useless magic skills focus on your ASPD/MSPD better, because not only autoattacks will increase both magic and physical damage (which good in mixed party), but regen your mana faster (add AMPR for that), allowing you to deal more damage.

    Chronos Drive for halberd.
Swift Attack and Sword Tempest? For Blade.
    Combination for crusher/Knucks main.
    Ignite trap? For Hunter.

For halberd you have impact so if you adjust your playstyle to a more short range approach you will hit the boss with impact everytime you do your dps combo which will give magic proration.
Then there's throwing knife for neutral prorate which you can use if a boss casts spikes etc and it's tricky to get close, you can spam that and prorate while waiting.
You can also cast magic arrows if you want more magic prorate but it's quite a slow animation so it must be used when the times right as I said before when a boss is camping on spikes or using a long animated attack.
And auto attacking is the most important, it prorates and gives mp back.

As long as you not spamming combos with 2-3 physical skills then your damage should be fine and optimum. If u spam dt at a distance without auto attacking or hitting boss with impact then proration will start getting bad, if that's your playstyle you should try use one throwing knife inbetween dt combo.

I personally use Javelin or Arrow since I'm using ktn which has high DEX nature, well, only long ranged though
Using auto-attack is obviously better at close range (I didn't build tumble unavailable eqs so I avoid using Impact for prorate)

Chronos Drive inflicts physical proration but deals damage based on magic proration. So it would just worsen the proration.

But yes overall impact-dt keeps your proration neutral. Everytime you use other physical skills which lower your proration you wanna use auto attacks or throwing knife to fix it. Proration with physical classes is rly easy. Mages have it way harder if they don't have 100 crit.

Don't the motion speed based hits inflict magic proration?

Nope. This was debunked already before.
The additional attacks don't do Magic Proration
    Just gives some AMPR

    btw, thanks for everyone's reply

Just use normal attacks. It has the same effect as using magic in proration damage.
Also, normal attacks will help in magic proration
