thank you very much for the information. a useful buff for katana, but still not enough to beat overpowered crazy atk damage of 2h and hb in ult bosses. haha, hopefully devs give ktn like more physical pierce in the skill(not the equip)

 

Garyou (with kairiki) has 100% physical pierce.

 

Katana don’t need Pp, it’s larges unsheathed buff enough him to deal large damage. And Katana already have enough damage, the important is Damage per Second not Damage Per Hit.

 

yeah, but even with this new sliding ktn bushido buff, it still need more time to build garyou than just spamming impact dt/ impact meteor. also correct me if i wrong, motion speed doesn't affect katana slide after auto attack? or is it does? i can't tell.

 

i don't know, maybe you right, damage per second is more important. yeah I'm not sure.
but what i feel is, after putting on cdmg and unsheathe buffs (and srd in minor amount), what katana can do is just to increase the atk.
and i feel... whenever i fight the ultimate bosses, my damage losses really much. but it becomes way better after i put buff like power candy which improve the attack.

 

This is just become the graze and boss highly resistant and higher DEF/MDEF. Katana have the lowest ATK stat and not like 2H and Halberd have higher ATK stat, they can easily reach 4K attack. in this case even though you have higher damage buff like unsheathes, your one times (except garyou ) damage will still lower compare to them.

i know right.. and that's the problem lies.

 

it does, but it a bit difficult or maybe you will rarely do slides if you use gsw or ur motion speed already high, you will find it more fun to spam basic attacks and tenryu. Imo slide will be used more often when gsw is not activated.
