question about minstrel

fairy song skill seems a good buff for bow dps, and for mass killing the mini boss to avoid graze, but each stack increase every 12 secs and the buff only last 5 mins. so, when the moment 10 secs has passed, i interrupt the song by attacking the monster. my question is, is the song stack still can increase during interrupted time?

and about skill rebalance at 2020-10-22,
i see ad-lib got rebalanced "Basic MP Recovery goes down, More MP recovered when a song is resumed".
before, ad-lib can restore 150 mp while healing song active (not interrupted). how does it work now?

 

Songs wont charge til you resume playing.

 

the song doesn't continue charging unfortunately and the buff countdown still goes down during that timeframe when the song is interrupted so you really gotta commit if you want the full effect xD
