I finished the main quest on my mage and reached lvl162, grind a few levels at venena but found it kinda boring.
Went to Inje to farm pojo & reached lvl177 but now pojo@ lvl168 gives very low xp.
Are there higher level farming spots where I can farm and level?

Also need suggestion for a second character perhaps, what to do after I'm done farming on my mage?

Well, toram consist of skill testing builds (need character slots), soloing/fast killing bosses and economist style gameplays at the end of it all. Oh and housing.

They are going to eventually implement PvP but even then, the general availability of stuff to do isn't expanded all that much.

The skill freedom system is crippled by design, gameplay and mechanics wise.

    Kill the miniboss for xp?

I did try sword and bow for a bit but ended up with staff for easy aoe spamming storm, don't want to test too much builds though.
I think this game is better for party play so I don't know why someone would want to solo bosses?

What's economist style gameplays? Do anything to make the most spina?

Generally if you want to be able to keep up with the higher level players to farm the special event bosses together with them, you need better equips, if you want to be able to farm high level bosses together with other players to kill bosses faster and level up easier, you would also need good equips.

Most new players can't afford to buy player statted equipment that helps deal higher damage from the consignment board, hence if their goal is to lvl up and be able to be more accepted in parties on high level bosses, they make a separate farmer character with luk stats to increase the drop rate of items, this way they can farm mobs and sell the item drops on consignment board, this is the most stable and easiest way to make spina for newbies, assuming you play for free. They can then use the spina earnings of their luk character to buy better equips for their main character to do leveling at bosses faster and easier.

There is currently a high difficulty event boss named stellar ooze at the hora diomedea special portal, it drops an OP staff weapon that has 430 base atk, +1000 mp, -75% aggro, and a whole other useful stats, that staff has almost +100 more base atk than the next highest atk staff in the game. If you're serious about your staff mage as your main character then you most likely would want to have it. But fighting that boss is extremely hard, and most parties are looking for tanks with recovery skill or bow users users. You'll probably have a hard time looking for a party that will accept you there because of your low level and not a bow user. But if you really want that event limited staff......

If I were in your shoes I would make a separate tank character and level it up to 160+ using main quest, tank equipments are super cheap(NPC equips) and you can just watch some youtube video on how to tank stellar ooze and practice a bit after you're done lvling it, if you can tank well most parties would be willing to accept you at stellar ooze, this is the most convenient way to farm that OP staff in my opinion, if I were in your shoes lol

That's the highest lvled mob that has many parties farming it, after that you can only do miniboss or bosses.

1st character slot: dps through main quest.
2nd character slot: 255 LUK farmer level 100 - 160 for farming materials and refine +S. This character can also be used for daily emblems. When your farmer's level exceeds max level of mobs, you may want to create a 2nd lower level one for grinding out the daily emblems.
3rd character slot: 255 TEC refiner/alchemist level 100+ to refine equipment +B, craft potions and modify appearance of gear.
The order doesn't matter as it is easy to reach level 100 now. They can all be leveled concurrently as well when the slots become available.
