    10% fractional dmg was so insignificant compared to 50% of knuckle, I totally forgot that 1hs had such a defensive skill.:D
    Thanks for reminding.
    Which is also a self buff and not party buff.

    Try all you like, with all the negatives that 1hs has you cannot prove 1hs to be better.
    You just a hypocrite.
    Also I'm not calling knuckle to be better, since it got its own problems.

    War cry gives exact same 10% atk for all weapons.
    Chakra effect is boosted further while using knuckle.

    certified clown moment proves your dont have experience in tanking (also chakra is 1 time usage only per use ill rather spam pdef than sitting duck on casting which lead more in dangerous fatal atk)

    that 10% frac resist is more helpful than charka buff defense

    You just mean player who doesn't give a F about other party members with self buffs.
    Knuckle is quite opposite, who cares about other party members, like an actual tank.

    you do know that letting one high duration war cry does faster run because it make other dps wont recasting 24s war cry to lessen their actions and mp cost

    Why would a dps worry about duration of 24 sec?
    It's the tank who is using it.
    It's not even 10 sec.
    Unless your lame party is too slow to keep up with 24 sec.
    Besides almost all dps players have war cry skill already.
    Though they might think about removing it from combo to make short combo, expecting the tank to use it.

    now your talking sh*t on dps side while ohs tank providing long war cry buff to lessen their action. (you also forgot that war cry has fear resistance)

    anyway are you tanking in the first place to proven that your mighty chakra can utilize its defensive buff? (do you know most tanker died on frac multiple hits because pdef might not able to keep up with the mp cost or fail because not everyone is perfect 100% execution of pdef all the time)

    also solely reason why ppl go knux tank due to 100% fts access thats all (and ohs fts is also join the game which knux fall in lower budget tank category due to piercer cost difference that people would still build it)

    ill repeat do you tanking in the first place????

    Well this is Toram, the game where def/mdef stats have way less effectiveness compared to other mean of damage reduction.

    You can deem the cost as "not better", and some people may agree, while some others don't. Me, for example, mainly play bowgun tank, with decoy helping in mp recovery so i don't really need extra ampr like ohs tank. And I only need 1.1k+ aspd for no auto attack delay and not yet to care about motion speed so berserk buff is also out of question. And since it's bowgun tank, plus i don't have high resistance yet and only +B equipments, I'd rather avoid the -90% def/mdef from berserk as the demerit outweighs the merit.

    Yeah, it does. But friendly reminder: they all have advantages and disadvantages.
    Chakra is party buff, gives up to 30% damage reduction (50% with knux) and recover mp in addition to ampr for everyone, and is low cost. BUT, it has 3 seconds base cast time, and the buff disappears when you get hit once. You may want to get 1k cspd to reduce the cast time down to 1.5s or a little shorter. Dps usually try their best to avoid getting hit most of the time, so they only benefit from the mp recovery and ampr buff, and the damage reduction only has it use for yourself and those who fails to avoid getting hit. As a tank, you'll need to prioritize the boss and stay alive rather than keeping an eye on party members to see who gets hit to reuse chakra. Since a tank needs to take hits all the time, you're bound to lose the buff almost immediately right after getting it. And since chakra is a low cost skill with "long" cast time, you'll be losing the potential aggro you would have generated, and losing aggro is a gigantic no for a tank.
    Forefist Punch reduces damage that are less than 1/4 of your hp to 1, and reduces higher damage by 1/4 of your hp. But it's also a one-time block similar to the damage reduction of zantei. And it costs 300mp and prorates physical, and you need to stay within 2m range to use it. As a tank one would prefer using pdef rather than that.
    God Hand does reduces damage received by a significant percentage. But it costs 400mp, and does not reduce frac damage, and just like Forefist Punch, you need to stay within range. Again, pdef is better than this. Sure it buffs the damage of crusher skills, but unless you play hybrid, pure tanks don't need damage that much.

    Yeah, party buff and defense capabilities. But unlike other games, a Toram tank's priority is to generate aggro and stay alive. As a tank, you'd rather use pdef than Forefist Punch or God Hand so having those 2 skills isn't an advantage in the end. Dps these days are gsw-addicted and skill-spamming-crazed, and manual evasion is a thing, so using Chakra as a tank doesn't provide enough benefit. You'd gotta wish that those spammers all have a lot of -aggro stats or you'll see the red arrow switches from you to them while you're recasting chakra. Again, the buff disappears when you get hit, so you'll need to spam it if you want to enjoy the buff yourself, and gotta tell you spamming it as a tank is completely unbeneficial.

    But the 10% stays for 6 minutes, while the 50% disappears after getting hit once. And playing as a tank means you obviously don't get hit just once.
    Spam it if you want it again, and enjoy watching the other party members stealing aggro.

    Depends on the situation. When you play tank, people would prefer you to hold aggro and stay alive rather than giving buffs, the latter is more like a bonus than the actual purpose.
    A knux md supporter would be better for chakra spam.

    They do, actually. They have a lot to pay attention to, like boss patterns, attacks, or the long row of buffs. They can miss a few things and resulting in some buffs running out of duration. Especially those who uses Regretless which forces them to keep an eye on that buff most of the time or they'll die an unshortenable death.
    Wouldn't be the case if the tank spams lv10 warcry, but there's also a chance that the tank only have lv5 or even lv1 warcry just for the aggro, resulting in a worse warcry buff. That's when dps would have to use their own warcry.
    Well, it's not like you cannot recast it.

    Nah, almost everyone who has it will always put it in combo (and maybe along with one or two more buff skills) for less mp cost. They need to save mp for damage skills.
    Only those who don't have it would expect others to use it, but usually it's the other dps that they're expecting, not the tank.
    But well, I believe I've said that giving buffs is just a bonus as a tank, rather than their main purpose.

    There's also a 20% bonus on damage reduction for chakra with knux.
    But well, it's still a one-time use :D

    status ailments from player skills last 10 seconds, 1 minute has 60 seconds.

    and some other things:
    - the theory of available skills has been discussed plenty. if you have no actual experience with those skills in a party, then shut up.
    - why are you arguing about bringing up a magic skill in a debate about knuckles and swords in a thread that is actually about knight skills?
    - there was more, but i forgot about it while reading your shitposts

    Just to clarify something here, forefist doesn't block one hit, it blocks all damage for one instance.

    The duration of that instance is just so short that it may as well be one hit.

    Well, he did say he's a solo player after all.

    Welp, rather use pdef than that. Pdef has no damage limit, will reduce all damage taken within its entire duration to 0, and can heal and generate aggro with a successful block.
    Would've been knux's own advantage there, but here we were talking about tanks, and most tanks have shield equipped (well, except barehand tank).

    Took u lads long enough to realise it's useless to explain something to someone who doesn't even wanna listen. I have played knux tank only for 2+ years and this guy who never played tank (i don't even believe he plays toram) is telling me 1h tank is better than knux tank...... welp atleast momo keeps the forum alive
