Why not weapon avatars

I still wonder why there is not weapon avatars in this game.Imagine which OP app for staffs swords etc could have this game.

 

fair point but i find the ability to change appearance and dye good enough. just my opinion.

 

Same would be able to be applied for the avatars we already have.

 

i guess i'm just not very into dressing up. the only reason i look out for nice looking avatars is because they give stats so might as well look good while gacha-ing.

 

Imagine a spear being swung like a staff while doing bow skills and being unarmed. Since even if you are technically buck naked, all they can see is the activated ava items.

 

The avatar are specific for each weapon.

 

FFXIV has skins for weapons. I bought a scythe that has a template for each class of weapon except bow and wand. $19.99, but that's because it's not gacha. If Asobimo changed to a direct purchase instead of gacha, but kept the theme rotation, might attract more buyers. Players sure love their skins in FFXIV and SE make bank off of cosmetics.

 

Ohh I agree to that, I would be willing to buy skins/avatar if its not gacha and I can pick which I can more freely..
Maybe they can make the stat we get from it Random still if they want to avoid it seems like P2W thing..

 

I rather go "theme style" weapon ava than "weapon specific" ava. Like a banana used in multitude of ways kinda thing. It may be worth more but more bang for the buck. Like having all event weapon in one morphing slot.

Ps. In hindsight using a banana as an example may came out wrong, but you get the point.

 

There is only an avatar the stats would be the stats of the staff u using

 

I were thinking of a specific avatar box for example Celestial weapons and you have all weapon type celestial avatar

 

curious. for your idea, does that mean if, say, a sword user gets bow weapon avatar, they would have been wasting ava tickets since they can't use it unless they make a bow character? as it is, trying to get like Top A is hard since you may get Top B repeatedly but no A. this means there's higher chance of getting unwanted items.

a way around this kinda issue could be like the weapon dye thing where equipping sword only gets you sword avatar. what did you have in mind?

 

At most some ava sets have some weapons in them already (altho not usable tho) at most including your actual weapons you can have 6 without breaking the aesthetic of the look. I mean i already saw a dual kodachi(ava)+dual katana(ava)+ sakura knucks(sub)+ sakura rifle(main). Similar to my dual kodachi(ava)+ taisho roman katana(ava) + katana(sub) + sakura bow(main) for my bow+katana char. (Yah me like it neat and organized and the gears don't touch each other.)

 

Oh no I was saying "skins" as in avatar in general not just weapon.. that I hope we can buy a specific one of/bundle of..

 

With how humans think, I can't help but imagine someone selling accounts because it have this one specific avatar that is loved by everyone.
