Weak Mage?

Hey there~

So I just started Toram a few days ago and I'm currently a lvl 47 support/dmg mage (i guess)

Well I recently started noticing that many Mages with lower level are waaay stronger than me. Now I get that it might be because all my attack skills are lvl 5, as well as my battle skills, but even before I restatet and reskilled I was pretty weak.

Now here some of my stats:

100 int
8 dex(lol)
24 luck
MATK 487
CSPD 124

Mino Staff 40atk+3
Mage Robe 16+2
Scholar's Glasses +2/Crystal Earrings
Aristocrat Ring/Magician's Ring

I've been trying to get the Crystal Armor for days now but all I get are Irogeons lol

Well anyways, I've heard of other mages with 700+ MATK...
Since I'm new here and I cant find any good threads to help me, I hope someone can tell me any tips on how to improve my mage xD

 

Go full int for full dps... Maxed magic mastery, and dont use magician ring if u want full dmg since it reduce your output by 25%...

 

I only use the Ring when I need more mp for something..
And that skill is maxed

 

You should read your skills description before spend points

 

Magician ring? Don't make me laugh... (Douche move is douche I'm so sorry)
It's pathetic for lvl 30 and up,-25% matk
Also those people with 700+ matk go full int without any matk hindering equipment.
E.g. : Magician Ring,Aristocrat Ring
Might be the reason why you're so weak...
Your stats are not so bad lol...now that I think of it.

 

Rhode my advise its dont base your character on a equipment cuz equipment updates

 

Magic Mastery is not so bad if you use Priest skill lol due to the physical atk of staffs/magic devices increase.
Holy Fist relies on both atk and matk.

 

Like I said, only when I need more mp, like when I farm Goblins.. I'm too lazy to charge my mp too often and they're onehit anyways xD
Now what would be helpful now would be to say what I could use instead of those things o: Hand armor thingy( sry I don't remember the names xD), since I don't have much hp?

 

I know it does, but many mages are still way better than me and there isn't much equipment to work with right now o:

 

Use sofy,s talisman. And crystal earrings. Both give 300mp. So u get 600mp and about 100mp from your int. So 700mp total should be enough for now. XD one of those 700+ matk mage,s speaking haha.

 

Uh... Where can I get Sofy's Talisman? I think I accidentally sold it o:

On second thought, I'm too lazy. Maybe there'll be something better to use in the next update

 

Since when int give you mp?

 

Hoy fist its bases more on your attack than on your magic attack plus on the future your wont do close combat being mage less being support and moreover your wont work your attack.Holy fist its made for brawlers evolving to monk.

 

So, does magic mastery bad ? Need more info about this skill..

 

Okay, lookie there, I made a Magic Talisman, just 200mp but good enough, more int too, got 7mp bars so its enough
