Question to decent 2h users

Hello as you all may know im Iyasuna (worst intro ever)

Ive never been interested in 3rd tier skills and im just wondering how you can effectively combo with temptest without drawing ALOT of mp.

Hard Hit - Trigger Slash (lvl 5 or less) (save) - Sword Tempest (smite) - Power Shot

This is not optimal (likely not even good), but it's 100MP so there's that. Combo mechanics like 'save', 'consecutive' and 'tenacity' are all ways to conserve MP on high cost skills

 

Power shot is an Archer skill, I believe. It's possible to use with a 1h, but his question seems to be for 2H.


@OP I don't know if any really decent 2H focuses on the third tier skills since they're such a joke to our low mp recovery, but impact seems to be the only thing to help us out with mp management atm.

 

Power Shot is a non executable in this combo- just there to eat penalties without actually being 'there' or 'eating penalties'. After Tempest, just begin your normal attack

 

Ah, I see, I see. I just assumed you couldn't program it into a combo because it's limited to bows/bow guns but I've never actually tried to so I wouldn't know.

 

Ah, a question to see how to get to a 1mp combo tempest with a 2h. Ever heard of Knight skills. Yeah, the skill tree with provoke. The move above it can be utilized. Try that move (kill me I forgot the name), Hard hit, astute, spiral air, sword tempest, then Trigger slash. Thats my combo personally
Edit: Full Consecutive. Forgot to add that. It prevents from the damage kill save can do.

 

These are 1mp but....
Hard Hit > Rampage (save) > Spiral Air (consec) > Astute (consec) > Tempest (smite) > Trigger Slash (consec)
-Cast time 20sec!?
Hard Hit > Sanctuary (save)*support tree lv3* > Astute (consec) > Tempest (smite) > Trigger Slash (consec)
-Sanctuary!?
Magic Arrow*or bless*> Sneak (save) > Tempest (smite) > Trigger Slash*or anything* (consec)
-Long range!?
Hard hit > Tempest (save) > Sonic (consec) > Astute (smite) > Spiral (consec) > Trigger slash*lv6 or above* (swift *or blank*)
-The tempest is useless here

This is 2mp...
Hard hit > Spiral Air(save) > Astute (consec)*can be removed for less time* > Tempest (smite) > Trigger Slash (consec)

it's shorter than rampage, imo, and it behaves like storm.
and yeah, survivability and timing is a must for long combo user.
I always have hp boost on all of my char (due to my aggresive and idc trait of boss aoe), except my tech bs.

Hmm, il try that combo with my skill set seems ideal to the current skills i have.

 

One lil thing about it....
If you don't want aggro, don't use it. The amount you get is high. Use once or twice and a boss is back to focussing on you, even if some skills miss
