[Question] A 2 slotted boss drop armor or player crafted armor?

Just as the title said, i just got a 2 slotted aqua garb while helping a friend looking for a crystal wing. And now i don't know what to do with it I only have 1 char atm and it's a dps mage and still using boss drop equipments.
So which one is better in my case? DG and Empress xtal aren't for armor right? Should i get a crafted MATK and INT armor instead? Or should i put 2 roga xtals on the aqua garb?

 

2 boss xtals have no effect on the same arm,I say save the 2s arm for later

 

id still go for 2s boss drops. you cant get that much utility in player crafted armor/weaps. If only I can get a 2s rapier from BS Npc, id be happy with that. where else can you get evasion physical pierce atk% and aspd in onr weap, and I have a 2s ooze armor. its basically a free moon potum xtal because of the 3ampr. and short range damage dex3 and cdmg3% aint half bad.

 

Is that so? oh well..i can't boost my mage hp to 5K then xD
Ok i'll save the armor for now. I haven't decided what my 2nd char will be.

 

I'd be happy to have a 2s mace of destruction too >,<
And for the aqua garb case, i might use it for another char. Because the boss drop stat isn't very balanced. I can't see the need of evasion for my tanky dps mage. 1%MATK and the 100+ mp aren't so great too.
If only it was a 2s oracle robe xD i'd be happy

Yeah xD i thought it's possible before. I could solo empress with 5K hp without worry ahhahah oh and another 1K from vita plus 2.

 

i cant solo empress atks are too strong for my mage to handle but my mage can handle roga and dg easy

 

I was able to solo her when my mage hp was only around 2K (that is after the boost of vita plus 2).
Her attacks and movement are fast indeed but not that hard to avoid when i can read the pattern. Like the best time to mp charge is after the 3rd laser beam.
As for attacking all i did was building the damage drop off system while evading then using a fast and short storm smite combo. I don't need to worry about her normal attack cause it's weak

 

Same I soloed empress for mq with my mage although I died a couple of times first. Need timing and luck to solo with mage tho due to cast time ZZzzz.

 

I managed to win on my 4th vita plus. And it took some minutes cause i keep running around evading the attack and the annoying imortal cassy =3=
But yeah..It's way more satisfying to beat the mq solo, no matter how many items i wasted hahahaha

2s drop is better. Lock it. Keep it. If you're not busy try doing Roga. The evil laugh will be harder this time, incase you get 2s lucky again. ^_^

 

Don't use the mp recharge combo use the shorter 1 mp spam combo instead, use cspd gear,use vita II, stay away from the Cassy and keep moving, you should be able to do it.

Yes, im keeping it in my storage right now. Hoping to be lucky enough to get the xtal >,< finally free and have time for roga.
