Bowgun sub dagger?

Hi good day. So apparently, im kinda new to toram. I just started 2 weeks ago and I've been reading guides and forums about different classes. And fortunately, i fell in love with this class - a bowgun sub dagger class. That gatling knife is lit. So my problem is, I've been dealing like a maximum of 12k per dagger hit (that was my highest dagger damage). I just need some help with the build and gears to use (tho i dont have freakin' spina to buy high end gears). And also why does my snipe deals low damage?

P.S: I'm already lvl140 and i already maxed out dex. No lvl4 skill tree except the dagger skill tree.

the dagger's weapon atk is added to the skill constant and also as flat addition to the final damage.
stronger dagger = more damage
Rock Fang Dagger is currently the highest with 180atk, but it doesn't have any stats on it.

the skill multiplier of Gattling Knife increases with STR, DEX and AGI.
STR raises critical damage, which is why many players prefer it. but it doesn't do anything else for bowguns, so i prefer AGI.

depends on your target. the show-off screenshots with "look, my snipe deals 69 million damage" are taken on low defense targets and with lots of buff effects.
another factor is proration. every physical skill will increase the monster's resistance to physical skills and decrease resistance to magic skills and auto-attacks.
a long combo with many physical skills before snipe will lower it's damage.
try a shorter combo and use auto-attacks before.

Sorry but i hope its not to late to ask here, i use bowgun and dagger, just a simple low lvl player.. My dex already 210 so as You said its better to raise agi is it for gattling? Or should i just forget this dagger build.. And just focus on snipe..

 

that is one option.
i use AGI for faster attacks to get the most out of Hidden Arm and it's upgrades.
whether you focus on Gattling Knife or Snipe is up to you.

 

Hidden arm also applied for range attack?
