    I don't want to start another war here between short combo and long combo smite, so please keep the flaming of this player suck, that player suck out of this thread. If you want to complain between players, I believe there are plenty of war zones out there that you can surely pick one.

    In my opinion, I do love the new combo smite BUT I also hate the fact that it takes away potential of the old build. I do know it will be revert back to old system as developer mention but there is still potential in new combo system that most of us didn't discover yet so I put up my suggestions that could work out for everyone:

    Either 1) Have 2 separate tags, one for old smite and one for newer smite, as long as they cannot be combined in same combo. This ideally the best as you can either choose to stick with any length combo in both new and old system.

    Or 2) Keep Smite tag at 50% bonus with double MP cost if position of combo at 4th or less. From 5th position, double MP cost remove and 6th position onward start getting 10%+combo position like new smite tag. Other thing is that double MP cost stop at 5th position, so medium combo either choose to profit with above, or less than this position. Also Smite should be limited as 1 per combo still, as there is Bloodsucker.

    Or if you have any better suggestion that can help both, please comment out below.

    keep the new one but adjust the next skill penalty to scale with the damage boost.

    combination of both. smite on 2,3 and 4th of combo have +50% damage, double mp cost if no skill after smite remain, mp cost of the skill with smite tag cannot be reduced by mp reduction skills such as impact (all skills except for finale). start from 5th combo it work like new smite +50, +60, and so on, double mp cost penalty removed, mp cost of skill with smite tag can be reduced by mp skills reduction skills. also limit finale for staff/md only.

    Keep the new smite, remove the double MP else this will make people spam invincible by finale.

    Make a new tag called Exertion that performs the same skill twice for twice the original cost. (Impact doesn't affect second cast)
    And keep the new Smite.

    Or, if returning old smite, add twice aggro generation.

    It will force people to change. For those that started in 2015, I feel that we may share a desire to see a return to more party based play. Rather than everyone spamming / soloing...while we just watch on.

    It's just a loss of 30% damage for short combos, they can still play like they use too. It's ridiculous that they want to revert it back.

    They can just make a new tag, for the old smite. That does the old +50% but halves the motion speed.

    Just merge the systems together, base smite should be at 40% as not to cuck short combos as severely and damage should scale 10% with each combo slot up to 100% cap so we don't have to use absurdly long combos to reach maximum potential. Double mp would still gone and both sides would be happy.

    Now there's options for both sides instead of just being one or the other.
