I think people deserved this server crash

I have been playing less since last year (Busy in real life) but I noticed that a lot of people create a lot of new accounts to make what they call "tuyul" which makes the server overloaded and also uses a lot of bots to farm and make spina to sell them for real money.

Don't go complaining for server crash if you abuse these orb reward thing and making alot of bots to farm. You're ruining the fun for "genuine" players who plays the game wholeheartedly.

I can't say I disagree with you but at the same I still don't know for sure what the actual cause of the server breakdown was,
Some ppl out there might argue that average piercer prices have dropped because of more suppliers, but who would be inclined to say that though, unless you are keen to get op gear? or if you operate bots yourself?

They're in Japan servers now.

 

Lets just hope the bots stay in jap server for a while (like forever)

 

I been playing for very long now, but I never cared if someone botted or no. I play for fun, meet people and farm sh*t. I could say I'm pretty rich, and I guess thats because I don't pay attention to "bots" and "how they ruin the game". If that really bothers you than the onlyone you could blame for this is the actual game devs for such a weak system.

 

Well in jp servers theres almost 0 bots and the consignment board is loaded with xtals (try to find a seraph machina on eng these days, and they have like 20+ only on board lol).
Im poor anyway, so id suggest - bots get rekt, no more free farm while at work/school/doing kidz etc.

Servers have crashed before because of overload from bots, but when that happens, it usually gets resolved quickly. This is abnormal. With little info to go off on though, your guess is as good as mine.

 

If it was a simple overload the issue this would have been fixed in 1-2 days. At this point I'm pretty sure faulty coding caused this crash and that's why their doing a system restoration I dont think bots had anything to do with this

 

I agree. Server overload has happened before, and they've fixed it relatively quickly. This is something else entirely.

 

Bitters don’t help with prices imo, prices fluctuate with demand, more players playing the higher the price or less ppl selling the higher the price. Bots are just ppl being lazy nothing more than that. I don’t like botting to an extent but honestly when I am farm grinding for 3+ hrs straight. With hand cramping up I do wish for an automated system tbh.

What the point is is that bots make a vast minority of the Toram population (at most 20%) and are literally most similarly compared to autotappers. They're harmless and have (after totally fucking it over) lowered prices. People who are angry at bosses are people who refuse to adapt to other types of farming or refuse to farm. I've never had an issue getting Spina fighting Maton Sword for Chrome, or Venena for her materials. Those places aren't affected by bots. I never need to worry about paying too much for NC and Flower Nectar now to level my Smith's and synths. If I don't like the price I'll just farm it myself. If I need Spina I just adapt. Hell, I've been farming Mardula lately because when the crafts come out that's fat Spina in my pocket. And btw (bots can't farm Mardula)

 

Remember back when devs gave the octoboss a full 180° attack range because people were hiding in the corner lol

 

Idk man I seen bots last year that could take down gwai so if they could take down Mardula i wouldn't be suprised

 

Not nearly as effectively as any competent player soloing. 4 bots could take 3 minutes. 1 me can do less than a minute. See the disparity?
