I think people deserved this server crash

Like JDX said the problem with this is that spina wouldn't be as valuable anymore as it becomes easier to acquire. What was worth 2-3 million spina would could be worth 4-5 million. Lazy people wanting something for doing nothing will still use bots and nothing will change.

 

True. The problem isn't on the system, it's people themselves who have trouble. Like when people says things about supply and demand, people should also learn how money in-game and in-real life actually works. More money there is, the less value it has.

I'm sure setting up the game to have a consistent flow of spina for people to earn themselves without having to spend hours farming for rarities that they may or may not get just to sell for spina isnt going to kill the game cuase im sure if they had done so, they would have the avoided the issue with RMT, which is already destroying the game.

 

Before the botting era and during its apex, I remember that Toram suffered from a huge downfall on playerbase, mainly in those English servers. I almost quit the game for that.

 

On the forum, being spammers like it's a personal twitter account instead of a gaming forum.

Also, looking back, there were a lot of player ideas that were WAY better then a lot of half assed ideas that the devs threw out.

 

Wait hold on. How did you know the devs even looked at those ideas?

 

Again, going back to my previous comment...making spina too easy to get is a BAD idea...
Too easy would cause an inflation and drop of spina value...
Never heard of historical events where countries printed abundance of money, only for the value to drop, so that people had to carry stacks and stacks of bills for simple eggs and flower?

 

You think we just post these ideas here and not also email them to the devs?
99% of the time we just get the same copy and paste response of "thank you for the feedback..." etc.

Ok that makes sense.

 

Except there you're only using that currency to buy from the in-game shop rather than things offered for sale by actual players. There is no economy there to worry about.

 

Which sucks actually...since there were alot decent ideas that would make an improvement to the game.

Easy simple ideas such as :
-npc in the guild bar..
-consignment board in the guild bar...
-better inventory management like the ability to divide stacks OR combine them...how many times we had half and half of stks and wanted to combine them without storage...
-more shortcuts...
-more shortcut options like easier target switch when accidentally pressing another player...
These are the more simpler ones...
Etc.

 

From those particular games they also have it where you can trade in the special orbs or special crystals that you buy into in-game currency to as well. Those games has zero RMTs and the Market wasn't too bad either. The Market was surprisingly balanced. Im sure if Toram took this route they wouldn't have had RMT either. I guarantee it.

 

If you mean orb>spina conversion, I've always wondered why that doesn't exist yet..

That was another idea that i have sent them by email yet i got the same old robotic "we really appreciate you feedback" non-sense. The real reason why they didn't want to put it in to affect cuase they were more worried about money, basically they were being greedy. They rather have it where people gamble away their money on getting rare item like piercers and drop gems to sell to other people for spina or to gamble on drop books to boost drops in hopes of getting the rare xtal or items they needed.

 

What do you think RMT bots are going to the game already? This technique would have killed RMT bots completely.
I dont see RMT bots like the Mr. Smith virus in The Matrix the movie, in the games that are already doing this.
