I think people deserved this server crash

Despite a fervent belief that #BotsArentAnIssue I wouldn't mind this in full honesty. A simple clean up that dissuades bot usage instead of outright deletion would make a decline of bot usages that don't fuck up the economy in one fell swoop. GG, finally an Anti-Bot solution even I can get behind

 

Even using the ig report system it can take hours before they even respond to the report. That's why I want asobimo to hand pick player mods and give them the ability only to temp ban. If they try to abuse their power slap them with a penalty but way things are rn it's just not working.

 

Yes, I also think this is a good solution. Just once a week, send a GM to Zoktzda Ruins and Fort Sofini to ban all the bots in there. You can ban up to several thousands bots at a time. And those bots in Fort Sofini are all lv 140+. They are very valuable to the bot masters. Deleting a few hundreds of them would already cripple those bot masters for months. Dis-encouraging them effectively.

For bots that do friend orbs and travel distance orbs. I have no idea how to prevent them, because they are cheap to make, quick to replace, and their life span is only at most half a day. So I guess we just need to learn to live with them haha.

 

Just make friend emblems only available after beating Nuretooth.

Orb Bots are fine TBH, I need them cheap Peircers and stuff. The farming bots I'd rather keep for a while to keep FN and EB low. The second they're over 25k/stk I'm just going to turn off auto items lul

 

I suggest removing the Orb rewards for adding friends, cuz the events (Anniv/DL/Collab/seasonal events and etc) already give players alot of opportunities (orbs for example) that they have to dedicate wholeheartedly to the game if they wanna get them.

The people who hate bots are the same people who can't farm other bosses for Spina. IDK but Venena is probably the most accepting boss you can find partywise. And oh boy, her stuff do sell

 

I could understand botting for extractions and piercers along as it doesn't destroy the economy. But botting things like fn or eb I can't stand for that should be something we leave to noobs to earn spina for I dont mind spending a little more so low levels and make some decent cash in the community

Don't get me wrong, I've spent a lot on newbies, roughly 40m at this point just for them existing. But, there's a point where the pricing is just not ok. I remember before my hiatus how getting items I needed to level my Synth Prof and EB was, either spend 100k for like 2 stacks of healing items or play the same price for 9 or 10. It's admittedly hard to go back, and hell it's just something I wouldn't do unless necessary (gem run). Otherwise, I'd legitimately go the weeks I could bumming EB or using some low grade revita over paying for 40k/stk eb. I can easily see that becoming an issue without bots

 

I love it how this anti-bot movement is so similar to the situation in the USA right now about Mexicans:
- Mexican illegal immigrants take up hard, tedious jobs.
- Lowly educated people: They tuk err jerbs!
- Educated people: They keep the economy going and everything cheap for everyone.
- Trump: Build dat wall and make Mexicans pay for it.
- Anti-Trump: but bots are people too (okay I made this up)
- Politicians: Good good, keep dividing and fighting among yourself, I just need to secure my voter base by keeping igniting more social clashes.
- Super-rich, elite Americans: lelz, let's party and forget about those lil shits.

 

Maybe if toram made it easier to earn money people wouldn't cheat so much. Like a mission to earn spina instead of f*cking exp that rarely does anything about all.

Idk if bots were the cause, but self-farming players seems to reduce in number recently, zahhak machina was a good farming spot and have many players back then, now its pretty hard to get parties. Or maybe its just that more people were quitting the game, idk. For fn and EBs even if these bots were gone, its actually pretty easy to be self sufficient by farming and making them yourself, before EB I made all the revitas myself, and I actually quite enjoy some grinding and care less about the actual efficiency. So, well in terms of the usefulness of these bots, they are good but not that good to me. If it happens to cause server overload and bunch of problems then they better be gone. Economically, i couldn't care less about that since prices are relative

 

Wasn't zahhak farmed for the ring (or was it for the tail?) I'm guessing people stopped because Hallu spore is better for removing tumble now? Not very updated with the current stuff so correct me if I'm wrong '-')b
I really don't remember shiz anymore but zahhak is pretty trash xp so I can understand why it doesn't get farmers :')

 

I understand I just dont want these items to be dirt cheap though to discourage newer players from farming them for profit. If bots could help maintain prices by keeping the supply up so players don't get stupid and price hike things I would fine with that. It's just that I rather see newer players earn spina than some dude that runs 4 bots making millions for himself
