It's not a bad combo :/ If you're safe and you need aoe dmg this is the combo to go to

 

How does the dizzy ailment effect the monster its inflicted on?
And one extra question what is the stability of revolver and if I equip a star shooter arrow which has -50% stability but let's say I have around max Dex what stability % would that result in?

 

Dizzy ailment decreases the target's resistances by 25% so expect to deal higher damage. Revolver's stability is 25%, and the arrow takes away the same stability with full DEX than with no DEX, as the stat which increases Stability for Bowgun is STR.

 

is this for bowguns only or all weapons? :O

There's a dagger that has evasion+10%.
Does that mean you'll gain +20% evasion?

EDIT: I tested it with my tank. After 5 minutes of being constantly attacked by a GS I never evaded by using non-remodeled armor with a Storm Dagger. My apologies for the wrong info. Daggers don't add a base evasion. Evasion +% stat is necessary on them.

 

i heard light and heavy armor give evasion and guard rate by themselves.
tested it myself and it's true, but i'm not sure if it's 10%, might be just 5%...

calculating my Illusionists evasion it should sum up to 42% if its true, but in this case it's not.
i have 27% from equip stats, if i get a light armor bonus it could be 32% or 37%.

 

Artisan Arrow or Odd-Shaped Knife?​

I had this question in my head too for more than a week. I've been always using Odd-Shaped Knife against neutral attribute bosses due to it's critical damage bonus. The stat is Critical Damage +3 & Critical Damage +3%. The 3% of our base critical damage without STR (which is 150%) is 4.5, so, 3 + 4.5 = 7.5 C.DMG added by equipping this Nurethoth drop. That's a huge boost. While arrows paired with bowguns half their ATK and Stability (yes, you only get 50% of Arrow's ATK & Stability with bowgun, 100% of them with bow and null with other weapons).

At level 105 you have max DEX with 255 points and if you added STR as secondary you have only 32 points on it. STR 32 adds Base C.DMG +6.4 and the 3% (out of the dagger) of 156.4 is 4.692, if we add the flat +3 it becomes a rounded C.DMG +7.7. As you continue adding STR the total critical damage Odd-Shaped Knife adds keeps summing more decimals, so its a grower.

My endgame stats aim as a sniper is DEX 255 > STR 255 > CRT 140+ but I personally chose to add CRT before STR, because what's C.DMG if one doesn't crit-hit enough right? So my personal stats are DEX 255 > CRT 32 at the moment. Without having STR it means my character's C.DMG multiplier is still 150%. So I decided to test which sub-weapon is better suited for my current build.

The test consisted of registering every 1st attack that was a critical hit, 100 times with Artisan Arrow and 100 times with Odd-Shaped Knife. The purpose of only counting the first attack if it was a critical hit is to avoid contra-proration. Test was done with a fresh character, a basic Bowgun (weapon dye drop) and no other equipment except the both tested sub-weapons. To not make it longer, here are my numbers:

Artisan Arrow Damage Log Sum in series of 20 critical hits:
1-20: 666
21-40: 1340
41-60: 2111
61-80: 2783
81-100: 3540
Total critical damage dealt in 100 non-prorated critical hits: 3540

Odd-Shaped Knife Damage Log Sum in series of 20 critical hits:
1-20: 638
21-40: 1326
41-60: 2074
61-80: 2735
81-100: 3458
Total critical damage dealt in 100 non-prorated critical hits: 3458

Result:
Artisan Arrow (Stability +12% for Bowguns) is the 100% total damage.
Odd-Shaped Knife (Critical Damage +7.5 without STR) is the 97.7% total damage.

My recommendation:
Use Artisan Arrow if your character has DEX > CRT. Stable critical hits accumulate higher damage.
Use Odd-Shaped Knife if your character has DEX > STR. Unstable criticals (high and low peaks), but it's 3.5% multiplier adds more critical damage if your base C.DMG is higher (STR as secondary) so it eventually compensates.

My choice as always, is to keep a stable damage since this means higher DOT (damage-over-time) and the current bosses are no longer 1-shot kills unlike before, when burst damage was actually a better thing.

Could you specify gear-setup with crytals and stating for bg+Shield?
Im kinda troubled since the atk-dex-vit route seems to interfere within themselve.
And for Shield 1st anniversary 3 has higher guard-Power than Marble Shield but i always get the feeling that the ampr+3 in Addition to sober makes a bigger difference in the end than it should

 

Use the Marble Shield drop. With lower chances to trigger Guard, having Guard Power is like a decoration. Why having 10% Rate, 30% Power, if you can have 20% Rate and 20% Power, I'd recommend the balanced stat. The AMPR is a minimal detail but good to have, same goes for the slightly higher Aggro %.

For the gear setup use D7%C111111 Anniv BG +E^ with B.B. Goblin, Heavy Killer Coat or K. Armor +E^ VIT+7%, MaxHP +7%, Critical Rate +11 with Boss Roga, Nurethoth Mask +E^ with Grylle xtal and Aromatic Bangle with Mauez.

Your character's stats at Lv110 will be:
MaxHP around 12.5k
MaxMP 660
ATK around 1075
DEF around 530
Accuracy 285-290
Critical Rate 51/100%
Guard Rate 40%
Guard Power 50%
Aggro 147/100%

The ASPD is very low so this build is a speed potion consumer but the survivability is quite good.
