1h Tank vs Brawler Tank

I never said knux cant hold aggro I was just saying brawlers needs more than just interrupts to be specializing as tanks but thats just my opinion holding aggro is largely dependent on the boss you are fighting and the party/your combos. For now it is fine but later on they will get a 7mp skill that will truly be tough to hold against.

And yes I agree 1h is nowhere near being best aggro generator. I can disprove it any day with my bg shield vs any confident 1h tank at any boss with a comparably large map.

 

The best tank is no-weapons tank. God, learn the game.

- If you're skilled enough and know your math, you can make any tank combination work. I've made and done all or most tanking since the start. It really comes down to skill and tactics nowadays. Don't think that 1h is better than Knux, or that Knux is better than 1h, etc. Once you learn to properly use skills and adapt to each boss, it becomes easy to keep and maintain aggro.

*edit: when I say adapt to each boss, I literally mean you have to adapt to each boss. You might need to study their attack patterns and change your combo skills or movements accordingly. There is no "universal" combo for each tank type that can be used at every boss, because almost all bosses are different. So be sure adapt and create new aggro combos and tactics according to each boss.

 

I never said 1H is better. I just comment on someone said the Knucks is better than 1H on tanking. Im now 1 year on exclusively playing my tank no dps so i had an idea on what you saying.
