Best DPS class

As we already know, Toram online has many different classes which are all useful in their own way. However i would like to know which one of the classes that you think produce the best DPS!

I personally choose bowgun

 

Well, won't this be a thread to keep an eye on.

Subjective, but I believe "The Best Dps" applies to which class(hybrids incorporated) can perform the best on which boss individually(Like 2H dps is best at certain boss, while halberd has better dps at a certain boss) rather than it being which class is the best dps in general because their damage is oh so high. =P

All dps builds are a force to be reckoned with no incredulity in that.

BUT 2H IS THE BEST SCREW ALL THE OTHER DPS BUILDS

Overall I'd say ultimate sniper or a mage is quite above the rest in DPS but Riddim is right in the fact that each have different strengths and weaknesses and at the end of the day all DPS classes ( if done properly are quite lethal )

 

The best Dps class goes to the class used by good player with good equipment (not extraordinary). Lol( i mean it depend on how u use it & where u use it)

 

Best dps? It depends on the given scenario

 

There is no best. It depends on your play style, your experience, the boss, etc so would be more suited to ask which do you think is better overall not which is best ^^

 

Brawler dps is the best in all conditions ( though i do not want the built personally due to many personal reasons)

 

Playstyle and experience contributes to it, but best dps do exist it just depends on the scenario. Would you use a swordfu in a pt of snipers?

There is no actual best dps. That's why we were looking for tanker during Empress Event. If there was good one they might go full dps n kill in 1 hit each! Which did not occur! If u die how will u dmg the boss? It's cant be. N a dps who disturb the whole pt is a bad example of dps. (example gunfu sword fu staff fu) they must never join any hardcore boss run. They can brag abt their dmg in normal boss. So best is the built (not dps class) which deal good dmg as well as enhances the whole party.

 

Even Barehand with taming skill and super pet can beat sniper Halberd ._.)/

No such thing as a best dps class. Many people have different playstyles. My Halberd and Sniper were beaten by Every build you could imagine. It all depends on what scenario takes place. In bosses like Yelb and Scrader Fu builds easily win, But bosses like Warmonger or Tapir are won by Halberds.
It just depends on what boss you farm.

 

FULL LUK, either magic skill, hallberd skill, or blade skill.
LUK will makes u lucky (which is the best stat EVER!!) you dont win the battle but you win the boss drops >

 

Tbh, just being an extremely good at dealing dmg is useless unless u can survive the attacks. For bosses like ancient empress (with the berserk 1 hit beam) u cant really tank and dps effectively at the same time.....i think

 

For those type of Scenarios I would go with a Shield Mage due to the bulk they have from MDEF. Mages are amazing for some bosses, but struggle in bosses like Ganglef, Astol, Goouva and Tapir due to the amount of movement they have.
A build that can deal much damage while being able to tank would be a Shield Mage (255 Int / 92 Vit), Staff Fu (255 Str / 50 Vit / 42 Int) or a bulky 2h (255 Str / 92 Vit)

 

I have tanked and got attacker at empress with shield mage, didnt dodge much either. My matk currently is 1800 ele I could go for more with granny xta but low cspd makes me puke. In the end it depends on just how much dps you wanna sacrifice, sure my dps is nowhere near other physical classes but I am fine with it, I have like 5times their survivability already.
Just go for any class and watch their videos at youtube to observe their playstyle/dps and decide what path you wanna take.

 

Currently, sniper, 2H and halberd are vying for the top, but it still varies, depending on bosses, how it is built, and overall party proration as well
