Best support skill: Gloria, protection, aegis or sanctuary?

Who said you should use snipe with a bowgun!!!

 

1. I use Gloria coz I combine it with Guardian and my Guard Build and its useful.
2. I use Protect and Aegis for the Magic and Physical type dmg.
3. Sanct I dont like it coz it locks my movement to an enclosed space. I used it only on certain circumstances.
4. Evade fractional damage type. This is mandatory.

In my honest opinion, u need ALL OF THEM for extreme tanking situations. Sadly, those situations doesnt occur daily. So the question is on what type of battle are u in?
Against TD I usually only activate Aegis and Guardian, against Roga Protection, against Scrader Guardian, etc etc. Every circumstances need different method.

In my opinion nothing is better between those, use certain skills for certain situations especially in extreme situations like Nightmare or Ulti difficulty + Legendary or Ultimate Gem where preferably for u to use them all and active most of the time.

 

Okay then, this thread sparks an idea!
Which one do you preffer on a full support + auto attack prorator : aggravate or no aggravate?
Off course it will have the max aspd, high acc or max crit, atk up from support skill tree, and war cry and full luck stat
The build should be able to massively increase other member dps!

 

Tbh i really wanna try a char that has:-
Aggravate+strong chase attack+hidden arm+intensive knife+mail breaker+Additional magic/physical dmg stats(td dagger)
Full agi brawler Support char
Since Aggravate + Strong chase attack = Guard break with auto attacks so yep aggravate.

Full agi then rest dex or some ratio of dex:vit would be good too.
Get all the good support skills in too
Be careful if you go full luck tho

Actually, my main weapon would be staff-knuckle or knuckle-md.
For knuckle, we have drill, so its 100% crit rate. I have tested that defense break from aggravate works with power wave (!)
While staff will have longer range (12 m), better MP charge cast time (3s), and -100% aggro staff.
Sonic wave will have good range and proc rate on both type.

If im not mistaken, hidden arm will not affect proration. Since the aim is to prorate and not looking damage, so its not very usefull. Unless, if this skill help us to take breaker rank, i would definitely take it.

Only problem is aggravate+strong chase attack wont work on knux as sub so no guard breaking autos.
And yeah neither aggravate nor hidden arm gives additional proration, for that you are fully dependent on aspd.

 

hence the question : aggravate or no aggravate ?
Aggravate we will nerf shell break efficiency on fu fu fu builds. So... Still cant decide lol
