Welcome Toram Players, This is my first guide, hope this can help you with your journey as a Blacksmith. Feel free to ask questions or correct me if there's a wrong info.

    BLACKSMITH
is one of the production class in Toram RPG Online who specialize in creating, upgrading and refining equipment to strengthen your character in the game.

    WHAT CHARACTER TO CHOOSE?
Before you create a blacksmith, you need to decide first where you want to specialize in. Although you can create any armor and weapon as long as you have the create equipment skill, it is advisable to focus most of your status points to one stat to get the most POTENTIAL in creating an equipment. Now that you have decided where to specialize in, I would like to recommend the following initial Job Skill Tree:

1 Hand Swords – Sword Skill Tree or Bow Skill Tree
2 Hand Swords – Sword Skill Tree
Bows and Bow Guns – Shot Skill Tree
    Staffs – Magic Skill Tree
Magic Devices – Magic Skill Tree or Knuckle Skill Tree
    Knuckles – Knuckle Skill Tree
Armor - Knuckle Skill Tree or Magic Skill Tree
    Refiner/Customizer – Shot Skill Tree

HOW TO GET THE SMITH SKILL TREE?
You need to go to the Library to buy the skill from Lilulu. The Level 1 Smith Skill Tree price vary depending on the number of skill trees you have. But the Level 2 Skill Tree is always worth 1,000 Spina. You need to have a level 30 character to unlock this skill.

Skill Recommendation – specializes in “Create Equipment”

    1. Level 5 Refine Equipment - Refine Equipment by yourself. The success rate is lower than the blacksmiths but you don't need Spina.
    2. Level 10 Create Equipment - Create equipment by yourself. "Customize Equipment" is required to attach stats.
    3. Level 10 Careful Creation - The potential of the equipment created by "Create Equipment" increase.
    4. Level 1 Craft - Craft materials by yourself. The success rate increases as the skill levels up.
Put Points in here when your Blacksmith Proficiency reaches Level 50
    5. Level 5 Novice's Anvil - Increases the proficiency limit of blacksmithing. You can level up the proficiency up to Lv50 without this skills.
    6. Level 5 Craftsman's Anvil - Increase the proficiency of blacksmith.
    7. Level 5 Blacksmith's Anvil - Increase the proficiency of blacksmith more.

Skill Recommendation – specializes in “Refine Equipment” and “Customize Equipment”
    1. Level 10 Refine Equipment - Refine Equipment by yourself. The success rate is lower than the blacksmiths but you don't need Spina.
    2. Level 10 Mid-Class Refinement - Increase the success rate of "Refine Equipment" a little.
    3. Level 10 High-Class Refinement - Increase the success rate of "Refine Equipment" a little.
    4. Level 5 Create Equipment - Create equipment by yourself. "Customize Equipment" is required to attach stats.
    5. Level 10 Customize Equipment - Consume potential and attach stats to the equipment created by "Create Equipment".
    6. Level 10 Accurate Customization - The success rate of "Customize Equipment" increase a little. The number of abilities that you can add increase.
    7. Level 1 Craft - Craft materials by yourself. The success rate increases as the skill levels up.
You can also get the Alchemist Skill Tree if you choose this kind of Blacksmith, because same with these Skills, Alchemy skills success rate is based on Tech stat.

Skill Recommendation – Alchemy Skill Tree
    1. Level 10 Item Synthesis - You can synthesize items by yourself. The success rate is lower than the synthesists but you don't need Spina.
    2. Level 10 Mid-Class Synthesis - Increase the success rate of Item Synthesis a little.
    3. Level 10 High-Class Synthesis - Increase the success rate of Item Synthesis.
    4. Level 10 Equipment Synthesis - You can synthesize equipment by yourself. The amount of possible locked choices
are lower than the synthesists but you don't need Spina.
Put Points in here when your Alchemy Proficiency reaches Level 50
    5. Level 5 Novice's Bottle - Increases the proficiency limit of pharmacy. You can level up the proficiency up to Lv50 without this skill.
    6. Level 5 Craftsman's Bottle - Increase the proficiency limit of pharmacy.
    7. Level 5 Synthesis Bottle - Increase the proficiency limit by 5 per skill level.

HOW DO I DISTRIBUTE MY STATUS POINTS?
This is my recommendation to get the maximum potential for Create Equipment. However you can put more Tech if you want to get higher success rate in creating equipment. The higher your tech and proficiency level, the higher is your success rate. Also, I’m aware of the Wall at Proficiency Level 15, the reason why I didn't recommended to put too many stat points in Tech is because you can increase your difficulty level by equipping items with dexterity stats. Please note that equipping items with dexterity stats increases your difficulty level but it won’t increase the potential you can get from “creating equipment”

Same with other stats, equipping items that gives stats points will not increase the potential you can get from the skill "Create Equipment"

1 Hand Swords/Bows – Dexterity 240, the rest on Strength (Dexterity also increases your difficulty level)
2 Hand Swords – Strength 250, the rest on Tech
Bow Guns – Dexterity 250, the rest on Tech
Staffs – Intelligence 250, the rest on Tech
Magic Devices – Intelligence 240, Tech 7, the rest on Agility
Knuckles – Agility 250, the rest on Tech
Armor - Vitality 250, the rest on Tech
Refiner/Customizer – Tech 255, the rest is up to you (Dexterity increases difficulty, but it doesn't increases success rate of skill "Refine Equipment"

My Equipment when Crafting gives +6 in difficulty level
Chignon Cap - Dexterity +6 (Dexterity +2 Crystal)
Crafted Armor - Dexterity +10 (Dexterity +2 Crystal)
Crafted Weapon - Dexterity +10 (Dexterity +2 Crystal)
Dex II Talisman - Dexterity +4 (Dexterity +2 Crystal)

PROFICIENCY in general is the level of your Smith Skill. You can gain experience to increase your proficiency level by using the skill “Create Equipment,” having a result of fail or success will give you an experience. A level increase in proficiency also adds a corresponding increase in your difficulty level for Create Equipment Skill. When your proficiency level becomes higher compare to the difficulty requirement of the item you are creating, the lesser experience you will get until you won’t get any experience at all. Proficiency doesn’t affect the skill “Refine Equipment.”

DIFFICULTY LEVEL is the condition for making an equipment, the higher your difficulty level the more kinds of equipment you can make. Also, the higher your difficulty level compare to the difficulty level requirement of the item you're making, the higher is your success rate. Difficulty Level increases by:

    1. 2 Tech Points – 1 Difficulty Level
    2. 6 Dex Points – 1 Difficulty Level
    3. 1 Proficiency – 1 Difficulty Level

POTENTIAL is used to put a specific stats on a crafted equipment. Equipment drops by monsters don’t have potential, equipment made only by the Skill “Create Equipment” have a potential. The potential you get from creating equipment is affected by what item are you crafting and the stats of your character. 10 Primary Status Points will give you a +1 Potential, 20 Secondary Status Points will give you +1 Potential) the skill “Careful Creation” also give a 10% bonus of the base potential of the equipment. You can convert Potential points to become weapon options by using the skill "Customize Equipment"

    1. STR : 2 Handed Sword (Primary), Bow & 1 Hand Sword (Secondary)
    2. VIT : Armor (Primary)
    3. AGI : Knuckles (Primary) , Magic Device (Secondary)
    4. DEX : Bow Gun (Primary) , Bow & 1 hand Sword (Secondary)
    5. INT : Staff (Primary) , Magic Device (Secondary)

TECH is the personal stat you can choose when your character reaches level 40. 2 Tech increases Difficulty by 1, which at the same time increases your success rate of Smith Skills. Tech doesn't increases your proficiency or the potential you get from crafting.

Easiest Way to Level your Blacksmith:

    1. Create your blacksmith character
    2. Farm Goblins in Temple Ruins until Level 25 or Level 15, then use small articles until Level 25.
    3. Use a Mage Character to farm Shell Mask in Nisel Mountain.
    4. Use all the bitter nuts and nisel woods for the experience quest in town, you will get a full inventory of bitter nuts and nisel wood within 1.5-2.0 hours, submitting the quest for half hours, 4.5 full inventory combination of bitter nuts and nisel woods will get your chacracter from Level 25 to Level 70, that means you can get to level 70 in less than 12 hours of playing. XD

Easiest Way to Increase your Proficiency to Level 15:

Level 0 - Create Wood Sword (25 Wood Mats) until Level 1
Level 1 - Create Short Sword (3 Metal Mats) until Level 10
Level 10 - Farm Small Gloves and Small Hilts from Ruin Rats in Debacky Channel B1, Create Long Sword (20 small hilts) and Iron Knuckles (30 small gloves) until Level 15. You will also get lots of Hematite.
The next steps will now depend on your assessment, which item has ingredients which are easier to acquire.

Credits to @Irusaru 's Guide that helped me confirm some of the info above.

What if I'm a rebel and I level those skills even though my proficiency is not level 50? There's nothing wrong with that right?

we are talking of blacksmith as a skill, using the smith skill, you can only make weapons and armors. please note that additional gear like chignon cap and special gear like talisman can only be made from the town's blacksmith.

DIFFICULTY LEVEL is the condition for making an equipment, the higher your difficulty level the more kinds of equipment you can make. Also, the higher your difficulty level compare to the difficulty level requirement of the item your making, the higher is your success rate. Difficulty Level increases by:

    1. 2 Tech Points – 1 Difficulty Level
    2. 6 Dex Points – 1 Difficulty Level
    3. 1 Proficiency – 1 Difficulty Level

for a level 70, the max stat if you go pure tech is 196, considering only tech your difficulty will be 196/2=98. with 98 difficulty you can make all the items available in the smith skills. however if you reset your character and put all your stat to vit (vit for armor) and your tech stat to 1, that means that your difficulty will also revert back to 1/2=0.5 or 0. your difficulty will determine the available equipment you can craft. as shown above your difficulty increases by tech points, dex points and you proficiency.

Also, note that resetting your personal stats (tec, crit, mnt, luk) is more expensive than resetting your original stats (str, agi, int, dex, vit)

im doubtful with dex equipment for blacksmith that increases difficulty. is it tested? coz i asked many players if the stats of equipment affects crafting equipment and they answered that only the base stats affects it.

This is tested and like i said from above:
My Equipment when Crafting gives +5 in difficulty level (meaning I'm currently using it)
Chignon Cap - Dexterity +6 (Dexterity +2 Crystal)
Crafted Armor - Dexterity +6 (Dexterity +2 Crystal)
Crafted Weapon - Dexterity +6 (Dexterity +2 Crystal)
Dex II Talisman - Dexterity +4 (Dexterity +2 Crystal)

I also noted above that: equipping items with dexterity stats increases your difficulty level but it won’t increase the potential you can get from “creating equipment”

You can try it yourself, check your difficulty when you are not wearing anything, then try to equip items which adds 6 dexterity in total. 6 dexterity should give you additional 1 difficulty. Mine gives a total of 30 dexterity, so i get +5 difficulty.
