Halberd or 2H?

a 2h STR,DEX,AGI will be faster than a STR,AGI,<something> halberd

 

I BELIEVE (doesn't mean that it's right) that Halberds have more dps IF they can crit, if they can't then their dmg is inferior. 2hs on the other hand have constant damage (unless you're full burst 75% crate with asute and full cdmg gear) and can interrupt bosses. However halberd is new, not being able to interrupt bosses and depend on your understanding of the bosses aoe and how to survive is fun in it's own way. Halberds rely more on pts than 2hs who can usually solo things (if built correctly). Each classes have their perks, it's just whichever one peaks your interests more

Surely I get that much though...However this 6mp combo is short; and for me usable against bosses I don't know that well; because it's short and powerful.

As for Halberd; I was not talking about their skill animation but about their auto attack animation...

And talking about sword fu's; spamming is spamming: usually with a 1 mp combo though... I was also only talking about the 'what if' case: if Halberd had a 4mp 150% Strike Stab vs a 2h 150% Tempest...And how they would regain mp back after that; since 2h has the trigger buff they should be faster then Halberd with regaining mp back... , <- especially (since I thought) Halberd's auto attack animation is slower then 2h auto attack animation.

Also why adding 'swift tags' to make your combo faster? I don't remember that I said anything about fast combo's... Only about faster auto attack animation or not

I guess we had a misunderstanding about auto attack animation?

 

What is your interpretation of full cdmg gear?

 

Nah was just saying if its 2mp we can incorporate even more skills for additional dps, (waiting for a snipe+strike build)
Gun fu have such high dps for the same reason.
While sword fu have higher dps coz of trigger+triple kick to boost the speed
Now if halberd got a combo thats just as fast and used more than one ailment to do it, its possible.
If halberd is built right i think its the first official real threat to fu chars ^^

 

I can out dps a sword fu though..But it depends, at short runs who first comes in battle usually wins... With longer runs I usually out dps them more easily; Gun Fu I don't know yet.
