What Effects on Secondary Weapons Function?

    Understandable bro.
    That took 2 days to retest. And now I need to check on vitacores + power wave now.
    (anyone else wanna test this? I'll explain how.)

    Now it doesn't matter as much.
    Before it had little purpose besides snipe for brawlers.
    Before they all gave stability together. But knucks need it less. So every other combo set was better than this one, offering more advantages. They still do. But snipe away.;)

    the first shield skill (shield mastery) increases attack speed.
    probably 5% per level, so if you max it, the penalty is removed ;)

    Mugami's post mentioned it, it's suck that you have to waste 10sp just to use shield. Rather invest in Gloria and use it in your combo.

    but shields can guard and they don't cost MP
    and if you really use shields (and not just wear them), you may also attack with the shield ;)

    EDIT: imagine the benefit of using a shield and gloria

    @Mugami, with Bowgun main and MD sub, does this alleviate the -proc? Like you can now cause slow or inflict blind with a Bowgun?

    This could help counter the Jan 14 shot skill changes, at the cost of 15% atk. Just brainstorming out loud.

    Just to clarify, so in a Staff/knuck configuration, do we get anything from the knucks besides increased proc rate on martial skills? How about the penalties? Do we get those if knucks are secondary? Ty!

    @Mugami recently i have seen many people with staffs and MDs as sub.
    do they just don't know that it has no effect on staves, or do they know something i don't?

    EDIT: wow, 3 summons at once :p

    Tested it. It does proc more, but not as often as a Bow.

    If you wanted the break from snipe consider getting knuck subs and taking some points in shell break so you can 'shell break' right before unleashing a snipe

    Forgot how secondaries work, on 1h/1h does element only work on the secondary 1h or does any other stats work aswell

    A quick question. So if you put power wave and you have md as secondary, does the stats of md applies or adds on your character?

    No, if u put weapon that can be used as main weapon as a sub the stats won't work, but some will give a passive ability

    Autoattacks only use the primary weapon, so if u had 1h/mdev ur autoattacks would come from the sword but power wave increases range with all types of weapons so ur 1h autoattacks would be like a getsuga tenshou;)

    • Power Wave (Passive lvl3: Magic Skill) will add the MD's Atk stat and all substats that apply. This works for Staff/MD too. Vita core (29+5) vs metal wings (32+5) vs irogeon (15+6) show substantial differences. Metal will crit more, as per it's subs. Vita still has higher average damage as per its stability 10% power wave uses Primary's stability as base (example: Knuck/vita; 90%+10%=100%: 95% is cap). Xtals on them work during power wave. My vita use astols. Metal Wings have a crit +2 xtal. So this must be a glitch they don't know about.

    Still can't understand this part....
