Full luck mage vs Pure int mage vs Half luck/Half int mage

so... full luck mage = not good at killing mobs, faster drop rate

pure int mage = can 1hit the mobs but slow on drops

half/half = decent on dmg+ little faster than pure int mage on farming.

So my question is, what do you prefer on farming? Preferably NC? cause everyone on that area ask for luck members/pt bt luk stat isnt shared right?

all players who advertise their LUK and Books or ask for it or sell it are leechers and/or scammers

 

for farming, half luck half int or something like that is preferable, as you should be able to 1hko mobs(with good gear of course), so you don't slow down the party.
people told me 100 INT and the following gear is sufficient:
Jade wings(when I read, but better to go with ice crystal icicle): light ele dmg to dark +11%: MP xtal/ECB
Armor IM+7%@ MP xtal
mining bag w. ancient empress/ aunigma w. grand pojo
magic talisman III@ golden potum
or something like that. just take the best mage gear, and the strongest MD. with magic up and magic mastery you should be able to one-shot

 

i guess they are. they deceive people into believing that if you're whole pt is full of luck stormers, the drop will be boosted when reality its not

 

that's kinda pricey i guess, but still worth. i didnt manage to keep some of those xtals before it was gone @_@ (gp and pojo)

 

I'm 250 luk, 60 int.
If you want full luk you really need to be dependent on gears. Elemental weapon, elemental arm and high refine on MD to get that extra dmg.
With the right combination of gears/skills/combo you can 1hit mobs like cassy, nightmare roar.

 

Well I go full luk 250luk + 47int
Simple gear though int+11 IM+7% (yes use light ele+dmg to dark) if you don't just stick with those stat.
Mining bag (mp xtal)
Magic Talisman III (gpotum)

For newbie I really suggest 60-80int .. That's more than enough.. You can always delete and remake after you get those spins for you to move full lucky a**hole.. But don't forget you prob won't just be sticking on NC don't you? Prep other gears for other hunt as well

4 stormer in a party. Even you can't kill in one hit but all of them storm together its fine. (Hard to get full luk stormer in the pt.. Prob just 2 includes you) but the drop.. You can't imagine. Goes better if you can afford the monthly ticket. THE LUCKY BOOSTER!!!

I thought luck, n books only affects urself? Doesmt really matter whether your other pt member a luk mage or not

I said you should be able to ohko the mobs, so as not to slow down the party.
If you go from ohkos to 2hkos, then your killing speed is halved, so the party's drop rate goes down by an 8th. so you'll need enough luck to boost your drop rate by nearly 14%(only counting luck).this is either 56 points or 140 points(aso keeps changing mechanics, but these are the two estimates I know of)
also, 2hit kills means that you are more likely to get kicked from the party, as you are lowering the efficiency.
NOTE: if you are a full luck build still able to 1 hit kill, then none of this applies to you.I'm not against full luck farmers, I dislike those who lower efficiency of the party, and claim their luck makes up for it.

Hmm. Point taken. But most of the nc farmers are really into luck. Like you're a chosen one from above lmao but taking the efficiency on it, imma try some test on full active stormers on ohko and 2hit.

 

Yea currently im just farming nc cause i dont have enough gear to hunt some bosses down. I dont want to burden anyone in pt so i chose this path first. Little by little i gain some spina. And maybe ill try to buy some elementals since it gives 25% extra dmg +11% so total of 36% would really do much impact on the damage but im afraid itll cost me some. So maybe ill invest first on my luckmage here considering itll be my stepping stone haha

If you using full LUK to farm NC then you need the following
Weapon - MD Light (high refine), Dmg2dark11%, int+11
Arm - Dmg2dark11%, int+11 (cspd+11% optional extra stat)
Add - Cat-ear hood with empress for cspd
Spec - Magic tali 3 with int+3

Using impact ->storm(smite) ->charge combo and you can ohko.

I can ohko with storm(cons) but my gears a little bit different ^^

Most other mob you can OHKO on consecutive combo e.g. cassy, skel, pova,

Yup when u have less than 100 int , it is wiser to get int + 11 than int+7%

 

Last I heard 5 points in Luk was 1% drop rate boost so unless they changed the mechanics again you would need 70 Luk to make up for the drop difference if you can't ohko the mob. As far as gear goes it's recommended to use a Staff instead of MD on stronger mobs like Corroded Fighter, yes the Storm radius is halved but you're less likely to die

 

Im on int 101 at the moment, using common equips and i can 2hits the nightmare roars with storm smite combo tho. also noted

 

My LUK mage only has 80 INT and rest is LUK. My md doesnt have stat like matk or int but it is light elem yet it does pretty decent damage, IM7% arm, monocle as add gear and ofc philo ring. :3 With just this equips bec can't afford much of xtals XD, I can say it does ohko NC and won't left leftover roars for pt.

 

The guy is a babe but yeah with matk under 650 without weapon i11 is better than matk 7% as stat
