Alzy's 100% Crit Rate Sniper (160 Cap)

You can use this for bowgun as well, you will just have lower critical rate than 100 with a gun. You can use a heavy knife (Dagger) to add +5 critical rate if you'd like. You can also use elemental arrows. Bowgun can also use shields, so you can use the black Knight of Delusion shield for neutral bosses for 25% resist, or you can use other shields for other stats. But the critical nerf on snipe, and the lack of ailments is why I don't use bowgun in the first place.

 

Updated with Current stat spread, edited stealth mode combo, added stat build/gear calculations for other additional gears besides a sandogasa or war helm.

 

What can I substitute with War Cry since I always party with a swordsman who has one?

 

If ur combo depends on it no , yes if combo without it

 

No reason not to use it, even if swordies use it, you can still use it ._. /
I just use it as a combo Filler, but you can use Para shot instead if you want

 

that means my snipe will not be as powerful as using a bow?or will i always see white damage, well tomorrow is the update for the new bow yay

 

Bowguns do 25% more damage than bows, but have low ailment chance, and 25% less crate on snipe. Bows have no crate nerf, no ailment nerf, and do 25% less. If bows and bowguns had the same atk, a bow would outdps a bowgun even with 25% more damage because of the higher crit rate. For this reason, and the fact that I will never miss, even on high difficulty bosses, I like my bow.

 

Did you test arrow rain now that shot skills got adjusted upwards?

Updated with Quick aura instead of war cry, Moeba shot 10, Arrow Rain 10, double smited combo with Arrow rain 130%, Snipe 150%.

 

I don't have enough stat points to level up both crit and str. Which one should I pick to level? I was going to choose str because it is atk + 2 ~I think~ and crit is only 3.5 crate.
