Halberg, Katana, or Bow?

I want to build new char.
Im just comeback to this game.
just wanna ask, which one better today for DPS? Halberg, katana or bow?
DPS especially for fast moving boss.
note : I already build a 2h. but i have a difficulties with fast moving boss.

- My 2H DPS is Tempest. My Tempest often miss on fast moving boss.
- I need suggestion to build new char. High Boss DPS and good Burst Damage.
- My build (Currently lvl 130, need advice if i reach lvl 150)

Katana 1st, but since nobody found an efficient way to do good damage its rock bottom right now

Halberd 2nd, because dragon tooth is enemy chaser unlike meteor 2nd hit. But low power only shines in high def bosses or gem runs, excluding the grazes

Bow idk, not sure the initial 700k hit on crossfire is placed skill so fast moving boss may avoid it

Lolnope, mage is one of the worse in fast moving bosses. I missed many td hits soo, burst has a condition too soo

Dw can only compete against lv3 skills and still lose to hasso. But thats just my observation as i'm not dw pro

If u wanna help proration, go brawler for autos and decent chariot or katana for physical proration fodder for mage finale.


I've seen the skills thread that crossfire may be placed skill meaning unlucky bosses may fly away, it casts fast tho

 

If fast moving bosses are a problem for your 2h, just get shukuchi lvl1 so you can dash towards them. Since shukuchi requires that you get bushido to level 5, you could also get Two-Handed for +5 crit rate, +5% stability, and +10% accuracy.

 

I am confused why you guys just proceed to answer without asking for more information...

so... whats your highest level? these people are answering your question based on knowledge that you're already level 150

 

In my opinion katana, halberd then bow..
Maybe.. Try learn boss pattern and make a shorter combo that didnt ruin proration or make a combo that can be cast from far away as opener then get near the boss for your dps skill when it is safe..

No matter how strong your lv3 skills is, u are gonna lose badly to a random lv4 skill user which is like 45% of the toram population. Unless u are full 2s odelon katana u can forget taking attacker nowadays

Instead of high dps, why not make the boss runs faster through proration? U can support mages by physical proration and physical attackers with combo: Reflex, impact save, tempest swift, meikyo cons. Heck u can use rampage save for all-purpose prorations lols

 

Hmm.. sorry cant point exactly which one but you can look at this forum on class disscussion..
My suggestion is you keep going on and leveling those 2H until max level..
130 to 150 isnt that far, all you need is perseverance

 

Katana is very expensive to build, not as expensive now but still expensive. Good thing is they can deal huge damage with just lvl 3 skills.

Bow would probably be the cheaper option with level 4 skills(learned at level 150). A +B no slot Bow can deal about 1m damage with the new level 4 skill. It can be sidestepped by bosses but it's fast so unless you're unlucky you won't miss. You need to be decked out in 2 slot gears with Odelon xta(right now 2.6m each, used to be 5m-6m) on all slot to deal the same damage with katana.

Halberd kinda dropped off the DPS ladder after the level 4 skills came out.

 

Agreed for him to spearhead his 2h to lv150. As i mentioned 2h is super versitile for proration support. Seriously forget dps for now and enjoy later at lv150

To answer this thread tho, bow dw helbard and zantei are all enemy chasers at lv3. Only hasso, arrow rain and tempest isnt enemy chasing

Looks like a fine 2h for lv130 cap so no problems here. U dont wanna lv1 rampage tho? Its comboable now so save tag

Then u could help focusing on prorations with the combos i mentioned above. Replace swift with smite for extra damage or use swift if the lv4 user has high efficiency.

Blade skills lv150 has meteor, buster and beserk. Meteor is main dps, but only 1st hit is 'enemy chaser' not the 2nd hit. Persumingly u have 0sp now, u probably needa sacrifice 1 skill nya.

Its too bad that i didnt have 2H char sorry but your build looks good, may i suggest to put 2 more point Crit so you get 5 crit rate and rest on dex so you dont graze much..
Also you might want to add Two handed skill from Mononofu, i heard they're kinda good for 2H to boost your damage a little..
