If you have boss version Ooze, it will be 'safer' to stick to that. Anything less, I'd consider BB Garb (only if you have a Roga to go with it).

I'll add boss version Ooze to guide, that's actually a good choice ^^

 

The pillar golem is nice crystal. I doubt it can replace the elemental sword unless you could check if it is better. The price now is op also.

 

The xtal is good.

If you current use STR gear, or atk gear, or even crit-gear, it's an awesome addition. Sadly for elemental blade user, say me, I'll need 5-6 of those xtals for each of my sword

 

Lol u talking about 10m for 5 xtals. The cheap version still is the ns elementals hehe

@Saphos what can u say bout the new Shining gentleman xtal?

 

Say if you have 1000 atk and you hit 18k Astutes.

With Ooze xtal adding 2% atk, you have 1020 atk, proportionally speaking, you should hit 18360 Astute.

With SG xtal adding 1% atk and 1% C-Dmg, you will hit 18000 + 180 (1% atk) + 180 (1% C-Dmg) = 18360.

Actual calculations might be a little off, but variance will be less than 1% here. I'd say, if you currently have a weak xtal in your special gear, SG is good. If you currently have Ooze, I wouldn't border.

If you have a 2-slot special, then put the 2 together ^^

I wouldn't suggest going as far as using a Proof of Victory and slot the 2 in there, 300 Mp from Muscle II / DEX II is still more valuable.

For those who are following this build, you might find yourself a little useless against the new boss: Pillar Golem.

I am losing sleep over this too and here is the solution. Note: we should have these skills already so DO NOT spend extra SP on any skill. If for any reason, your situation seems different, post here before adding any skill, I'll gladly look into it for you.

Mana-saver spam combo:
Magic arrow > Impact (Save) > Tempest (Smite) > Trigger slash (Consec)

The point is for you to stay far enough such that Impact won't hit, and Trigger slash not to activate. Trigger slash is still kept at lvl 5 or below, the Consec combo tag will cover the 300mp usage.

Damage combo:
Impact > Tempest (Smite) > Astute (Consec)

Again, here, you should stay ranged and Astute should not have to activate, but won't harm if it did.

Great guide there @Saphos , the name Berzk Blade make me think it actually a Rampage build but it is not. (haven't see any rampage build)
I reset my staff-fu because i want to following this guide but instead i went and take rampage instead, LOL !.

 

Just a suggestion. We can replace crystal earrings with fur cape for more cdmg if we have Pillar Golem crysta on our weapon.
