Tank: 1H Sword + Shield (LVL 150 cap)

    Plus if ur a resistance tank sanctuary is ur best friend because if u have 50% magic res and 20k+ hp, those 3k magic atks would be reduced by 95% so perfect for sg etc

    Can you show me a ss of sg doing only 300dmg instead of 3000dmg from magic atk, i am not saying i dont believe you mr.ben. But my fickle mind doesnt accept anything unless i see it myself.

    Its all based on math, if u get hit for 3k with no magic res gear, +50% magic res would reduce it to 1.5k, and when its 1.5k ud need 15k+ hp to reduce it by 95%

    :0 so we need 10times the hp to reduce it by 95% i see.. Well i am planning to get it if guard skills lvl2 or knight skills lvl3 arent that good

    Mhm thats what Sanctuary is, even if ur hp is 100 below the amount u would've got hit for there won't be any reduction

    Yeah I will work on a combo for adding guardian. If you were to use this combo I might suggest putting trigger slash at the end? As of right now I'm going to focus on more shield skill and the def battle skill for now. Sanctuary is really out of the way to get as maxing it would require 20 sp. So it will still be something for the future

    Ms.athena did you try using guardian a bit? If yes, can you tell me a few things.
    Does it reduce dmg on you?
    Does it give you nerf on your ATK?
    Is the change in aggro noticeable?
    I believe the skill is bugged for it doesnt reduce any dmg on my caster, it only reduces dmg on party members, it also gives no nerf on ATK whatsoever, neither on caster, nor on party member.

    I have been testing it a lot and yes it does work. To answer your questions
    1. This skill says it increases guard rate on the caster. The guard effect will decrease dmg depending on the amount dealt. This has worked well for me so far but this is dependent on how much you have refined your shield. I've refined mine to +B and it works a lot except on a few bigger attacks.

    2. This skill nerfs attack of the caster. For me it reduced my attack by 50. If you cast this even when not in battle you can see the difference in your stats. As to why it's not very noticeable in battle it's probably because tanks don't have high attack to begin with.

    3. The aggro change when using this for me is very noticeable. After only one use I can hold aggro easily from even fu spammers without needing to do combo again. At most I have to use my combo 3 times but it's mostly to put guardian back up cause it ran out or to get the effect of trigger slash at end of combo. With that I can focus more on throwing interrupts manually when needed.

    Wait wait wait, i did retest again and let me confirm a few things:-
    The skill description says "cast an aura to reduce the dmg" "increase guard rate" "reduce atk power" and "greatly increase aggro"
    Cast an aura to reduce the dmg:- This is NOT working on the caster it is only working for party members that stay close around 5m to you
    THIS is the dmg reduction which depends on the refinement of our shield, the dmg reduction on guard only depends on the total guard power of the shield. Me and @BK. have tested it. At +C refine the dmg reduction on my friend was around 50-60% so it should be around that much if your shield is refined +B
    Reduce atk power:- This too me and @SirEgg have tested its giving absolutely no reduction in ATK stat, i even tested it while equipping a sword. Not only that the actual dmg that i did also remains same i tried it with a 90% stability knuckles the dmg stayed at around 292-314.
    Increase guard rate:- Yes this function of guardian is working perfectly, i guarded 42 out of 100 atks without guardian and 79 out of 100 atks with guardian, again though by using marble shield the guards reduced 20% of the dmg (guard power of marble shield) other than that there was no higher reduction because of refined shield.
    Greatly increase aggro:-Yes this too your test was perfect to prove that additional aggro was generated because of guardian
    2 out of 4 effects given by the skill are bugged, so we can expect the skill to be fixed, and for it to get even better

    I guess I should have worded it differently. I know the damage reduction only works on the party members not the caster. I was just stating we get more guard rate which helps lower the damage. This is just a guess but this skill seems similar to auras in support so the damage reduction won't effect the caster. It might not be a bug as auras don't apply to the caster either.
    I see what you mean though about the atk though now. Hopefully this will be fixed in next update.

    Yep.. I reported the skill too, but they replied that its working completely fine zzz. I am still wondering why.

    Maybe it really is fine then. I'm sure they have of telling. Besides I did check it does lower my attack in the stats.
