ok.. now im having a hard time to choose between 2h and dw.

 

Spiral Air?
No flinch? More c.dmg?
Looks like I can delete triple kick now for using as filler when I can't flinch boss.

 

Get tempest and rampage both. Build high mp 2h. Tempest ender impact,while tempest is doing dps use rampage and do normal atks with rampage buff, cast tempest for continues dps until rampage combo ends.

 

Then again..
I'm actually really fond of spiral air's current high flinch rate.. it's saved my ass plenty of times, especially at chocolate ooze.

And yaaa for triggerslash buff.. but how much of a damage increase are we talking here ..

TBH, you can only utilize this rampage buff by fighting a dummy boss or any boss that will not fight back. Because nowadays, almost all bosses have either ailment debuff or crowd control that'll make your 10 SP wasted. Try fighting older area boss like metal stinger and you'll still feel the same. Wasted 10 SP. Just wait for cap 120 and wait for that offensive passive next to critical up, that might be your best go-to passive-buff skill.

 

Tkick vs Spiral will be so interesting in terms of damage...And the buff Spiral gives; I think I might become a pure 2h

Indeed, but I'm leaning more towards spiral air solely, but the idea of using a triple kick combo after the c.dmg buff does sound interesting.. I might keep it depending just on how much of an increase..

 

Still depends on how good you will navigate your character to avoid aoe to cancel rampage. Putting rampage to normal atks is better than the old rampage which is really for dummy bosses. Please be OP rampage

 

Please take note that the critical damage buff from spiral air is not like trigger slash's motion speed buff which only benefits a skill next to trigger slash. Spiral air's critical damage buff is like Astute's critical ratio buff which has buff duration after using that certain skill (Astute and Spiral air.)

This idea might help you to build optimal combos without forcing spiral air on "save tag" just for critical damage purposes. Other skills can still benefit from spiral air's critical damage buff even if spiral is not next to your preferred damaging skill.

But let's observe first on how short that "buff for a short period of time" really is and if the critical damage from it is flat buff during its duration or is a decaying buff.

 

The buff is pretty long 1:08:59 at Spiral lvl 10

maybe rampage is better with dw user since they can use phantom slash to become invincible and shadow step to manually dodge boss straight attack ...
