Archer vs Swordsman DPS!

Sup guys wondering which class does more DPS? Archer or swordsman? Also which build of the winner is the best?

 

"Archer" and "Swordsman" each have many different variations, if you want to compare 2 "classes" you have to be more specific.
also, the performance of a class/build can vary greatly depending on the user

when looking at support effects, Blade Skills buff the users attack in various ways, while Shot Skills debuff the targets speed and accuracy while buffing their own accuracy at the same time.
both skill trees have a skill for mp recovery, but their function is much different from each other.
shooting weapons are weaker than blade weapons but can attack from a distance, so they are less restricted by movement and position.

 

Yes but which has higher DPS? So far it seems my swordsman. Lvl 24 swordsman astute does 1000+ damage. Costs 1 mp. Archer skills seem to do less and archers first skill takes serious time! Although I am only lvl 8 archer so can't really compare yet but so far not so good. So let's say lvl 25 swordsman vs 25 archer. Bad gear, swordsman with 40 str and archer with 40 dex. Who has better DPS skills and attacks?

 

Considering your current main quest progress, meaning you still don't have access to your tier 3 skills. Your 1h will win against your archer in terms of dps. ^_^

 

OK but then say at level 70 if both had same gear who would have higher damage?

 

2h will deal more on tempest skill rather than 1h. If compare to Archer snipe skill, since 2h (swordman str build) hav crit buff, it will win the Damage Over Time. But... if u are Archer bowgun Dex and u crit, in term of DoT, u might win.
