    I'm kinda hyped of the maguc skills buff. Finale feels so stressful to use, so hopefully the devs will boost the damage of the other skills to where they can compete with finale, unlike last time where all they did was increase burst's constant by 200.

    It's a bit of a shame that they didn't "rework" some of the skills, and just boosted their power. It's nice that traps will no longer get destroyed by charging AoEs, but bear trap's stop ailment lasts less than a second last time I checked, so it would still be useless.

    Ah yes I remember this, the Finale online phase. I quitted around that time because you can get kicked from a party of 2 mage and a tank for not being a mage. Trying to farm p.ava was hell, if you're not a high level mage or a tank then they're not interested.

    I still think the problem isn't in Finale itself but rather from maximizer that enables it to be spammed.

    exactly,because mages can recover their damn mp so safe,easy and fast it's finale spamming everywhere.

    the dmg isn't a problem,their mp recovering and spam rate is.

    the same goes for dual sword,even before their respective tier 4 skill came out,Dual Sword users got diss by every t4 players and getting kick out instantly just for being one.

    after getting shining cross look at how much hate it gets for being stronger than other t4 skills.

    again,ds skill comes last in the tier 4 order,and to unlock it will need 170 levels,20 levels higher than others,the dmg is understandable from that point,but the ampr + spam rate of the class is a true problem.



    the ailments from the traps pretty much has little to no effect on the bosses + cut down status time yeah,i have little hope for those..

    Maybe instead of changing the damage calc, they can change how proration works. From number of hits to damage dealt. The higher the damage the more resistance the monster will have from that type. This will require more damage from normal attacks or attacks of the opposite type to correct the proration.

    That’s a terrible idea. We’d be screwed on high evade boss as magic is the only thing that hits consistently.

    I thought people didnt invite phy dps user was coz.
    A. Their low hp.
    B. Their ampr issues (even tenryu).
    C. Decoy wasnt main stream that time.
    D. Finale was too good of a skill.
    E. Tanks preffered finale as no one has time to baby sit an incompetent phy dps user.
    F. Mages die less in general even if they do other mages could revive em pretty past.
    Never saw any cocky mage user tho even in that time but sure have seen people complaining why they dont get invited finale users are nobles and some stuff.
    Tho i agree with rebalance thing.

    I don't think shining cross should be nerved.
    Since its a special skill that unlocks at Level 170 unlike other Level 4 skills it needs to be better than other skills. Please take this in importance. Thank you .

    .-. 4th tier skill is not supposed to be greater than the rest of 4th tier skills. Unless its a 5th tier skill, thats considerably acceptable.

    this,i have been thinking about this ever since the first time it was announced.

    (but really decoy got fked hard if the pause is refeshable,/woosh most melee ampr and chance to fight against anti-melee bosses,also destroying melee tanks source of mp against fractional spike spamming bosses,thus making every battle alot lot harsher)

    his idea is in the neutral,from 150 to 170 is not that easy to obtain for a normal newbie.

    dual sword isn't suppose to get tier 4 skills,it doesn't have the "Lock" icon unlike other skill previously,Asobimo just decides to make it due to how many complains coming from the players about how much Dual Swords Got Diss In Every Party After The Last 150 Tier 4 Weapon Skill Batch Came Out (april 2018)

    it was not until around ~7 months later,their 4th skill set is released (december 2018) ,7 months of taking negative criticism and getting kicked out from partys.

    there are alot of sad memes about it in the /off-topic thread but most of the picture links died rip.

    although the class deserve it's power,the players using it mainstream it so much now every juans raise their meat stick towards it.

    i have always trusted that it is not always the skills that is bad,the people using it are,also bcoz asobimo are full of idiots that can't take hints between a nerf/balance.

    Don't even have to be spikes, bosses who spam red AoE with 3m+ radius on themself will also be a universal problem for melee decoy user.

    I agree with the Shining Cross nerf because as of now it is broken so i dont mind the dmg being nerfed but also taking away that 100 mp recover and reducing speed of SC kinda bothers me. DW is supposed to excel at ampr and speed tho.Idk maybe im just salty that sc nerf is harsher than decoy nerf. Just my opinion
    Edit: Also no rework for those middle skills on shot skill tree like arm break? It seems so underwhelming for a tier 4 skill '-'

    U mean to say anyone other than bow/bg
    Arent gwaimol/ifrid/iconos/york/roga/mw/guignol/zahhak/tyrant/mozt/imitacia/imitator/ecb/inzanio/td fck almost every boss.
    Not too mention they move around too they wont be in decoy range too when they are ur decoy will get hit by their aoes waooooooooooooooo...when u think about it its a severe nerf.
    Maybe decoy user can shine at venena well tho pillar throws alot of spikes maybe at meme meme moves around and will hit ur decoy all the time.
    Or maybe im interpretting it wrong :eek::eek:
